NancyB - Thank you for sharing that excerpt from Woodrow Nichols comparing the authoritarian approach of the walk to Hitler. That is confirmation of what I've been seeing in the writings I review about the Holocaust by Bullets. It is also significant to note that people hearing about what the Nazis were doing often did not believe it as sounding impossible for anyone to act in that way.

Reep - My comment about John didn't mean I thought he would willingly get help in any of the areas I mentioned. It was more wishful thinking. Therapy of any kind was generally frowned on by TLWF. Gary once did a whole message from the pulpit about how bad anti-depressants were. In that area, TLWF and Scientology were twins at job 1 being cult protection along with membership harming.

Changedagain - I heard John say the Sodom "nice day" thing from the Sunday morning pulpit in the Valley. There was a lovely rose garden next to the driveway at his house on Kling. He said he stood there that morning looking at beautiful roses the size of cabbages and he thought about what a nice day it was. Then he thought, well yeah, it was a nice day in Sodom & Gomorrah befor

It is interesting that the Kalona News article spells out the real reason the buildings will be demolished. "...to make way for development." The meeting on January 20th should tell us who the developer is. Shall we start a betting pool?

Below is an excerpt from the Kalona News. It raises a lot of questions. It was published yesterday and is online at: ? The annexation requests include about 200 acres of property owned by Shiloh church, roughly 465 acres owned by Marilyn Farms and 35 acres owned by Larry and Evelyn Hershberger. The Shiloh property is bordered to the north by 133rd Street and to the east by Nutme

Little Red Flag - I like to hear from you ANY time. Nice to see you back here. I don't have details about the policies in play in the lawsuits. It is my understanding that the policies on the church entities have a duty to defend. I'm not involved in the lawsuits other than what I can read in the public record. I watch the L.A. cases because they're at "my courthouse.&q

Documents in the public record in the Los Angeles lawsuits show that all defendants in the 3 lawsuits have been served. The 4th lawsuit still has two defendants to serve. The defendants' answers/response is due to be filed on January 17, 2020. The defense appears to have coverage from insurance on all the claims so there may not be a huge personal financial impact on those sued. I woul

Lilith - WELL said: "... they are harboring criminals and collaborators and they are cowards. And as far as the remaining churches reconstituting I hope that they realize that they are building on a foundation of disease and perversion..." I heard some interesting information today that leads me to believe that the churches that have no shutdown, have also NOT changed their Bylaws. When asked, someone at one of the churches said there was no need to change the Bylaws. Which means... Gary Hargrave still has sole control as the Apostolic Fathering Ministry. I could be wrong. I will see what I can research. People have a right

A good friend of mine from Sylmar High School just wrote me on facebook and shared with me his brush with TLWF and JRS: So Mary... A few years after high school in the early 70's I was an active Christian in Baptist church in the Valley when I met a girl at camp who invited me to come to her church. She was very insistent and it sounded interesting. Brother Stevens was teaching. The teach

Please - No one take what I posted earlier as an attack on victims who have not spoken out. I am critical of the people who refuse to be aware of what has been exposed and those who are VERY aware but continue to follow Gary and provide support for him and his "ascension" to his worldwide ministry bullsh-t.

I just posted this on FaceBook but wanted to post it here as well: I have posted over the previous year information about the exposure of the church group I was involved in for 40+ years. New people continue to come forward with new stories and details of horrors committed by the leadership of The Living Word Fellowship of churches. And yet I know there are still huge areas of darkness where

Just two of what are probably many areas still hiding in the dark are the Trust finances and the direct sex

4Generation - I would like to see your post presented in a more public forum. I would like to see it in Gary's hands. You presented the position of their cover-up and lies so well and eloquently stated the position of "us" the survivors who have been accused of being bitter and who have been battered with the hammer of "forgiveness" since the exposure began. I would

Thank you, Melissa. And thank you, Reepicheep. I was around some people a few weeks ago who are still caught up in the religious, convincing deception being produced by former leaders like Hargrave and his minions. Did everybody have a moment when you looked back at all the hard work, focus and prayer that you gave toward bringing the Kingdom (or whatever current vital project was going to achieve that) and try to figure out what exactly you were expecting? All that effort, time and money, for what? So weird. And the weirdest part is it went on, and on, and on, and on until it stopped. Like you said C

Relaxing as a sin. What a nasty concept drummed into our minds and conditioning. The hard work now is taking baby steps towards freedom from that life robbing drive to achieve value by always working. I loved your post, Reep. Liam your former and current posts are always great. ;-)

Northerngate: The first time anyone ever discussed PTSD with me, it had to do with my father and then the cult. No matter the cause of the trauma, the panic of feeling unsafe is genuine. I don't focus on causes from my family because my dad has been dead since 1995 and we got close before he died and I miss him. I forgot to share one of the primary keys my therapist taught me. In creating a new life after the cult, make "Self Care" your top priority. Even taking a small step and doing something consistently that is caring for yourself (preparing healthy meals, bathing with a lovely new soap, etc.) starts the process of removing the conditioning of the negative life under cult control. I learned something beneficial from my therapist yesterday. We went back over the notes of my very first meeting with her. At that time, I was nervous that I would not be able to stay in therapy long enough to achieve the result I was looking for, which was to dig deeply into 40 years of conditioning by a destructive cult. At our first meeting, she said, no to my idea of therapy. We don
