In France...it ended with discovery and press and awareness. The press was "bad" for LE so they hauled ass. Generally, when the press, people, etc. begin to report things in increasingly negative numbers and enrollment drops or flattens...there will be a gestation peroid followed by a name change and a "transformation," in that the origins now mean nothing,

QuoteezdoesitThe best advertisements against Landmark are Landmarkers themselves. EZ I bet you that Real Estate guy that did those two, left his phone number and e-mail, and said "it's like 15 years of counseling in three days," pulls those clips within the week. Any takers? Let's erase history people!

QuoteednaJust to update you guys: I did go and see my friend in the end, because she said she was doing no more Landmark. Of course it was not that simple, and she brought it up as a topic of conversation. Basically we ended up having an argument because she said I couldn't possibly know what it was like because I hadn't done the course. It was a pretty heated argument and we drew

I had to try to find some closure. She just vanished the day of her first paid staff job at LE. The Pressman book helped, A LOT. It fleshed out the vague areas she spoke about in jargon...I know using the jargon made her feel clever, but for some stuff that comes from a religion that believes we are clams evolved... ...I'm glad I didn't quit my day job. ...I'm glad I didn&

Quote"The Shadow"Hi Vic-Luc, I wasn't thinking so much as sueing go get money as a reward, but rather to bring a strong message to the LGATs to be more responsible for what they are doing. But the money would be helpful if the person needed therapy, or in the case of the man's wife who has been sent to jail. Thanks for your reply 'shad' LE, as a rul

QuotecultreporterDamn right - except we differ on the point of being headed to be worse for the US than the US is - because I am pretty sure that we are already there. Just last month John Howard met with Hillsong and it looks as if they are also contributing to his finances. Does that matter though? Why are there no term limits?

...I doubt that Oz can ever UN-F__K itself. Seriously. Pyramid schemes happen and there's not _much_ action taken as the law moves slowly there. LGATS? Howard is like having 12 years PLUS of a Reagan/Bush type in office. The electoral system is whack. The ruling party gets to decide what day is election day every year and they get to convolute the registration process/dates as well.

Quotemelburn_ozHi, I just did some googling and found this resource – I really wish I had found it before. Last year I was blissfully ignorant to white collar cults until my sister became involved in the Landmark forum thanks to her partner. A lot has happened over the last year so I'm going to try and condense it as much as possible and concentrate on where things are at right now. Bas

QuoteThe ShadowHi Elena, Thanks for the clarification and additions to my comments. Another point I am trying to stress is that while people sign documents, and are under the impression that they cannot sue Landmark/EST, I think the issue of INFORMED consent has been missed. No matter what they call it, they can call it process, but they are merely manipulating words, and eventually th

QuotebrainstormerThere are definitely two sides to this issue, and each side has the right to their opinion. There is no scientific evidence that will ever decide the issue, and there is no more humane side to it. Some people see people who are in cults in exactly the same way as someone who is kidnapped and held for ransom. Others try to draw from more psychological insight. I remember t

QuoteVodnikHi. This is my first post here. Since lurking on this forum and learning about LGATs, I have been wondering if anyone can give me a name for the particular LGAT I am about to describe.
