Past discussions of Ching Hai, her cult and her lucrative chain of Loving Hut vegan restaurants on CEI message board: (Select 'all dates' when searching CEI message board -- some discussions go back over a span of 10, sometimes 20 years!) Reddit can be a source of information but must be used with caution. One allegation from someone saying they are a former LH employee

Since 2020 Ching Hai has been spreading misinformation, conspiracy theories, apocalyptic predictions, and outright lies through her videos such as . These include pro-Trump misinformation and anti-Covid vaccine lies. Specifically, she supports and propagates numerous conspiracies and misinformation, including The Big Lie (that Trump won the 2020 election), Qanon’s belief that Trump would return

Check out a news report about one of the cult's Loving Hut restaurants - Having been in that cult for years and seen personally how they think and behave, the video doesn't surprise me the slightest. ------- I've met Ching Hai in person, she is one of the most unenlightened, people I've ever met. May it happen that the Ching Hai group will no longer exist.

QuoteDeras or sects are as old as the Sikh faith itself. While their followers come from every caste, they are mainly dominated by Dalits and other backward classes. Modern Sikhism, which promised to get rid of untouchability, failed to provide the social equality. The hold of casteist prejudice and hegemony sustained in spite of Sikh Gurus’ preachings against untouchability and their propaga

Since Tulsi’s endorsement of Bernie Sanders and dropping down from a key political post on the DNC, it has really got me thinking about Chris Butler’s own political education, his unusual background, and how this all led to his meddling in politics. Do not be fooled. Tulsi does not make a move without her (smiley face) “gurudev’s” permission. I have heard it said that if one lacks a true spiri

Fact-checking: Dharma practice in action The well-being of the least of us affects all of us. We are all interconnected. Before patronizing any business, ask how well it treats those low down on the food chain -- employees. Find out how well a guru-affiliated business treats employees. Then - decide for yourself. Example: Put these words into Google's search slot.

Some of these business concerns go on to become independent of the gurus or groups from which they originated. Feel free to eat where you wish. However, if you feel concerned about which businesses you patronize, you have the right to do background research. Another search strategy is to use search terms such as "harassment" and "labor violation" Loving Hut Res

The Loving Hut restaurants make it seem eating vegan will help save the planet. At one LH restaurant, I saw a poster with Albert Einstein's portrait and the claim he was a vegetarian, further to underline the scientific crediblity angle. (This LH is near a campus for a major university cum medical school) David Hines, formerly of Radhasoami (RSSB), tells us: "David (Dav

About that new Ching Hai's intstruction of watching the video to learn meditation that could be a new easy way of recruitment, so vegans WATCH OUT! I've witnessed a lonly elderly going to Loving Hut (could be regularly) under a staff's (Ching Hai's fanatic follower) advice just to glue to SMTV/videos.(recently)

For the past few years for the sake of saving from 2012 the end of world.... Lots of disciples have been exploited financially heavily , health deteriorate resulting from poor diets & trying to meditate 24 hours, free labors for SMTV 24 hour work (nobody watching except disciples), some pensioners took out all retirement pension to set up and pay Loving Hut chain businesses, some people qu

Loving Hut has expanded to Mongolia. Smart move. Mongolia is becoming a destination spot for travellers. And people who are not confortable on a Mongolian meat diet will flock to vegetarian restaurants. Quote Vegetarians in Mongolia: Putting og in the yurt | The EconomistDec 1, 2012 ... You know its been a real long time and the memory is not what it used to be. Its difficult to remember dates too but I remember the Rainbow Bridge gathering was taking place but was on another Island. I vaguely remember Sai talking about Jimi Hendrix and that he was going to hell for putting his face over the vishnu god. Most of my association was at the hut, with a little time on K

Dear Rabbit, welcome. Many who eat at Loving Hut restaurants would never be able to imagine the personal hell that legions of people like you go through and have gone through, to make that entire restaurant chain possible. Your description of the gradual process in which you found ways to ignore Ching Hai's increasingly extreme behavior is an eye opener. What you have written will

Waiter, There’s Woo in My Food, Part 2: Supreme Master Ching Hai The subject of the second post in my “Waiter, There’s Woo in My Food” series will be instantly recognizable to many vegans, Supreme Master Ching Hai. That review by the waiter who got fired tells it all. Ching Hai Loving Hut volunteer slave labor. They want people to work for as close to free as possible, and will break labor laws to do it. Be certain that Ching Hai followers would not get any money, and lose money to work there. Its like Scientology. This is why one should never support these cults by buying their food or services, as

On Page One of the Loving Hut thread of the Plant Based People website, one member wrote this: The SF one had a video loop of Supreme Master stuff playing. I don't really know much about the Supreme Master but cults are not something I would want to support. Cults are generally abusive of their members and don't allow freedom and often require members to donate all their money.

So its most likely the Loving Hut delays are from just not knowing what they are doing? The restaurant industry is one of the hardest, so most Loving Huts, they would be losing their shirts, and houses. They would be losing a lot of money every month. It would be interesting to know are the Loving Hut's now just playing Ching Hai DVD's in the restaurants? One would assume that is w

Loving Hut The poor service from Loving Hut is due to one simple reason – Disciples are jumping into restaurant business under the crazy “Saving the Planet” movement, 99.99%(I also like to user % now!!!!) of disciples have no idea about restaurant business. QuoteThe AnticultYou wonder if the Loving Hut in Saigon changed their videos due to customer complaints? That might be an effective strategy, to complain to the owner about the cultish Ching Hai videos, enough complaints and they might have to change it. You're maybe right. Or maybe SMTV has been forbidden in Vietnam, and they fear police control... I thought SMTV was terminated...

Hmmm. The reviews were from persons who ate at the Phoenix Loving Hut. Vegan restaurants are not too plentiful in Arizona--unless perhaps, one goes to Sedona. If one is a vegan and wants to dine out, options may be limited. Some noted the LH in Glendale AZ was better. But in South Asia, where skillful vegeterian cooking has been done for centuries, and in areas of the US with large South A
