There have been a lot of reports ion the British press re Freeganism involving members of the Jesus Christians and just like the BBC story, they don't mention that the Freegans are Jesus Christians. The synic in me suggests that due to the criticism abot Jesus Christians being forced to eat garbage, they are using David's PR skills to promote it as an acceptable alternative lifestyl

You’ve got to love all the righteous indignation being expressed over at the Jesus Christians site regarding the Quakers. Shock, horror, the Quakers are actually questioning what we do and believe! How dare they? They are supposed to be Quakers. That’s why we infiltrated them. We finally thought we’d found a group that would tolerate our cultish ways. Even one of the newer Americ

Zeusor I really don’t know why you bother with this personal dialogue with Dave? Dave has been at this so long, he treats it as just another opportunity to practice, how to handle critics 101. He uses the same methods that Media Consultants use to train their clients in order to respond to negative press and interviews. He likes the classic, “tell us the worst thing you can think of abou

Zeusor, you also asked him straight out in a later post if it was over a visa issue. He was still pretending(?) that you were were suggesting that if was over a kidnapping issue. It was pretty clear that you were saying that Reinhard came to the authorities attention over the Joe Johnson issue and then you asked the question whether the authorities may also have known about his previous invol

Quakers are generally known for avoiding conflict, so it's taken some guts for some of them to stand up and start asking questions about the Jesus Christians involvement with the Quakers. Expect to be criticised. Expect to be accused of persecution. Expect that Dave will even acuse you of trying to kill him. After all. Forty plus members who have left the Jesus Christians, only did so

I see Glen has posted under the Flame thread (on the Jesus Christians site) a link to the Religious Freedom Watch article on Rick Ross. Not sure if Glen realises that Religious Freedom Watch is allegedly a Scientology front group. The articles on critics have been complied under Scientology's "fair game policy", basically in an attempt to silence critics. Interestingly, some of

Ross, the "paperwork" is referring to Cherry assisting a refugee. These people obviously end up thinking that it's simply Dave and Cherry helping them and become "grateful" to them. The disappointing thing is that the Quakers have provided funds for this refugee work, when there are lots of legitimate and accountable refugee organisations that the money could go to.

It anyone's ever doubted Dave's ability to turn a negative into a positive, they should read, "God's Provision", posted by him on his website on Monday 31 July, 2007. Dave, ever conscious he might be filmed and no doubt starting to feel the effects of being recognised after being on television, embarks on the best defence is a good offence. Here is justifies his bee

Is it my imagine or are there more references to parent visits in the Jesus Christian's newsletters of late? This from the July 2007, edition: QuoteBoth Karl and Gidraph visited their families this month, and both families expressed joy that their sons are doing something so positive and meaningful with their lives, even though there is no monetary reward for the work that they do. I

While Dave's having a moment of honesty. Perhaps he could tell us what the deadly weapon was, that he keeps referring to? I don't seem to be able to pick it up in any of the transcripts. I am also interested where my Nationwide Criminal checks might vary from David's copies. You see in the United States, virtually anyone can for a fee, obtain nationwide criminal records of anyon

Well it looks like David finally come clean about Rheinard's arrest, despite being asked repeatedly about it. Given the choice between honesty and dishonesty, he had no problem concealing the truth. His ridiculous, "so called" explanation is laughable. As with many of his explanations, he relies on his newsletter audience's lack of ability to adequately research what he

Dave seems to be taking his thread name; Rick Ross invites lies and slander, seriously. He’s decided to accept his own invitation and post lies and slander: Dave Said: "The sad thing is that, at the same time that these people claim we are totally imagining any serious threat, they are the ones who totally defend and justify what Jared and John did to Rheinhard, and who constantly beli

A great post Malcolm. However, as one of those who has made a stance on language, I am left with a dilemma: In my line of business we regularly refer to people as either, "the subject" or in the case of surveillance of baddies, "the target". I am a still a bit reluctant to refer to David as, "the target" ( I say hiding my Google earth maps of his house) lest

If anyone wants an idea of how David tries to "correct" and "influence"his critics they should read: Jon Ronson Out of the Ordinary: True Tales of Everday Craziness, Picador 2006 Jon's documentary on the Jesus Christians has been featured elsewhere on this board. Zeusor asked David two questions. If David wanted correct information out in the public domain, he needed only to reply honestly to the questions. Instead he chose to tell him to, Pxxs Off. Consequently, David has only got himself to blame if people are forced to speculate, make assumptions, etc. Bottom line, he was cleverly drawn into finally posting the outcome of the trials (well at leas

There are conflicting reports. Nothing appears to have been reported, although we may have missed the media reports. My sources indicate that a Jared H Johnson, appeared in Criminal Court: Case Number 071953, to answer two cases or charges (as we would call them in Australia): Court Statute: P 243.D My understanding is this is a felony charge: Battery with serious bodily injury. I, personally think it was good of David to save the Australian tax payer money by allowing Fox 11 to film the entire event. It sure saves Centrelink from having to hire investigators to follow and film Cherry. They can simply use the Fox 11 footage. So what if they have to leave their comfy, NSW Housing Commission unit and their pensions behind. Maybe it's time for David to step o

Matilda, Thank you for posting the Fox 11 Investigates story. There was obviously a lot of planning that went into that event. Rheinhard was supposedly in a critical condition on May 6, but fortunately was sufficiently healthy again to run in a 5km race in Louisville, Kentucky on the 17 June 2006. I believe he was accompanied by Dave and about 9 other JC's. So they obviously had a little

Malcolm, If I can use the following fishing analogy. I think if the truth be known, everyone would kiss the little fish and throw them back to safety. Everybody's always interested in catching the big fish! There's no real problem that good people can solve, if they work together. We are in a position to put various scenarios to people and see what assistance they may be able to o

Just wanted to let our regular readers know that there is a lot going on behind the scenes and some real progress is being made. Because we are so out in the open, we are being selective as to what we post publicly. It is really important that everyone respect the privacy and security of people providing information and not expose people, as this will only make people more reluctant to come f

Furry, unfortunately a lot of the media articles are no longer freely available and you need to pay a fee to retrieve them. I use services like Newslibrary.com. It's worth it for me to spend a few dollars, if it help prevents somebody from spending a lifetime from being scammed. Fairfax in Australia, also has a service where you can retrieve articles. In fact, I just retrieved an article

It has been alleged, that Larry Rosenfield the person who Sue donated a kidney to (featured in the Jon Ronson documentary), has acted as a sort of liaison person for the Jesus Christians to hook them up with other people needing kidneys. Apparently, up till the end of 2005 he has assisted 7 people to get kidneys. It is not clear whether all the donors were all members of the Jesus Christians

Some reports say 9 left, some ten, etc. I don't want
