Hello All! I've been reading here for many many years - in fact, FactNet was part of my slow awakening that allowed me to escape TLWF around 10 years ago. :) Just want to finally throw my hat into the ring here and be a voice as well as reader. I also want to thank so many of you who have been posting for so long. I know the pressure was on you, and has been on you at times from the

The whole point of this forum is to discuss all aspects of ymbba/CoW and spiritual aspects, such as doctrine, and specifically doctrine, are paramount. Most of us who have been commenting in this forum have been discussing those things. Forcing us to leave Jesus Christ and His biblical doctrine out of the discussion defeats the purpose of this forum. I'm done.

I am really just wondering why you are watching and listening, and more importantly, who you are watching and listening too. Also, @senhome, I enjoyed reading what you wrote in your latest post! Quotechris99I AM WHO I AM.. AND I HAVE A FRONT ROW VIEW... WHAT'S IT TO YOU?

Who are you then? Why are you "watching and listening"?

You are right God's Child. I shouldn't spend more time studying them than I do studying the word of God. I still feel like I am called to help them somehow or something like that. The reason for my spiritual warfare comment at the end of my last post is this: we are all believers and spiritual warfare goes on around all of us. Those in CoW are not unique in that area. I am confused why

How did this happen? I mean, what happened here? Why did each one of these young people end up in ymbba/CoW when the rest of us didn't? If one were to ask someone at CoW they would easily and quickly reply that it is because they are the ones walking in the true faith and the rest of us are "false converts". The problem is that since I am on the outside and do actually have salvati

The "Prayer Closet" is a reference made by Jesus Christ. Christ contrasted public prayer (prayers that are either in public or somehow publicized by prayer loud enough for your neighbours to hear) with praying in one's "closet". The term comes from the King James version of the bible. Other versions say to "go into your room and shut the door" etc. I personally

Given how flawed their doctrine is, I do not think they love the doctrine of the savior.

senhome: Amen! I am so encouraged by your words. I wish I could have put it that way myself. Praise God! I think that all of us who are believers have grown in the Lord as a result of this whole thing. In addition to that, we are all flawed people. There needs to be some flexibility to deal with people who are not perfect. I think that the COW paper has failed in that. There is no flexibility.

One thing that is really bugging me is how COW is complaining that people are criticizing them even though they have not sat down and talked with their members or gotten to know them and such. If they won't allow us "false converts" to attend their services or spend time with them, that is if they are not willing to have relationships with people, how are we supposed to get to know

Church of wells just posted a new fifty page document on their website. It will take a while, but I am going to read it. I still haven't finished reading the last thing they posted.

It would be nice if Church of Wells ymbba would not be so secretive about their history. That in itself is kind of strange.

I agree with secondmama, both kjdean and Justin07 have been a source of encouragement to me on this forum. Reading this forum has shown me that there are other people out there that feel the same pain I feel. I am so sorry for your loss and I am praying for our friends and family in ymbba. I want so much for them to be set free, to live lives free in Christ. Concerning those who have questioned o

I feel the need to interject here as well. I know I am saved because I am trusting in, and only in, the full and completed work of Christ on the cross and His resurrection and I believe every word of the Scriptures which told me about Christ and his work. The work of Jesus Christ is the necessary, sufficient and exclusive work for salvation that God has provided and accepts. Just the fact that I

Oh, and of course no one is being held against their will!! That is the whole point of a cult! My goodness, if people were only being held against their will we could just call the police and be done with this whole thing. Instead they are there by choice, if not willingly and we have to pray for them every day and quietly grieve for them in our hearts because running a cult isn't actually i

I must confess that I am rather surprised at your experience. My own experience with them has caused me much sorrow, primarily because they blatantly disregard the word of God in some very important areas. I also have a number of very, very close friends who have had the same experience that I have had with them. In addition to that, some of them have been very verbally abusive and unkind to othe

Hello, I am new to this forum. I started reading it on Tuesday when I started researching ymbba. I know some of the members of ymbba. One of them is a brother that I love very much. I and some others that I am close to all miss him very much and we love him very much. I have been in Christ for many years and when I met this young man he was in love with Christ as I am. Then he somehow got involve
