If you don't name him, you certainly won't have anything to worry about legally. Even if you did name him, you'd be pretty safe if you could back up what you say. Libel suits are often avoided when the allegedly libeled person is afraid of what might come out in court, and the fact that a suit could bring more attention to the charges, not less. Plus, if he is deceased, exac

New article: Quotefrom the article: getting a heart transplant does not make you an expert on doing a heart transplant. But that’s not what the new wave of ‘shaman’ seem to think. They propose that taking the plant medicines or hanging out with the powerful healers who use them actually entitles them to step up and market their own new powers, cashing in on the massive depression, addiction,

The reason for the postponement of the retreat is that the person he was going to rent a retreat from heard about what Trinity was doing and cancelled the rental contract.

I find it offensive that you are telling me what my intent was and what I want. (This nonsense about me "wanting to be right." I AM right about what my intent was.) I don't care if you believe me or not. But your post is offensive.

I used the phrase "to me" and that was what I meant. I'm not going to debate it or tell anyone else what to do. And my interest is not particularly to bring Trinity down. My main interest is in not opening the legal door for just any unqualified neophyte to start an ayahuasca retreat business in the states and get legality by calling it a "religion."

I don't like the idea of "snitching" to the DEA (people can do what they want, but I personally don't want to be associated with "snitching"). Or to the IRS (it is not difficult for an incorporated church to get a tax exemption) or the FDA (which would get involved only if the group is claiming direct healing from these medicines). The DEA knows how to use the i

Quotedabcult Whoever is reporting Trinity to the DEA should let the DEA know that Trinity is using all theses substances You know what, to me that crosses the line into "snitching." It is one thing to let the DEA know about safety considerations if asked to give permission for unqualified neophytes to serve ayahuasca to the general public, it is something else to inform the DEA abo

Before going into that, it's important that you first understand the "backstory".Behind exactly what is unfolding in our Church - right now. Quotedylan It's actually true that the expenses exceeded the contributions we've received - both Marc and Trinity, the founders of the church, have invested and lost money from their own savings. Although the contributions we've received were not an exchange for services, out of good faith we will be sending everyone their money back if they're not happy with a retreat in Pe

Quotecorboy And what if one or more people take Trinity's course and become as grandiose as he? Especially likely if combined with ayahuasca. If Trinity were not such an infant, he would know that messianic "calls" very common to happen to people when they first take ayahuasca. That is the other side of the coin of why ayahuasca and cultism are a very dangerous mix. Ayahua

BTW, corboy, you also mention diabetes and pre-diabetes. Ayahuasca can increase the body's sensitivity to insulin, which can be beneficial for the pre-diabetic. But for someone who actually has diabetes, and is on medication or special diet to balance their insulin and blood sugar, increasing sensitivity to insulin has the danger of causing a blood sugar crash. Anyone with diabetes who is

Quotecorboy Gayle, is clinical depression a condition that can be made worse with ayahuasca? Hi corboy, clinical depression is one of the conditions that can respond most positively to ayahuasca. For both physiological and psychological reasons. In some cases (based on considerable anecdotal evidence that we have gathered on the Ayahuasca Forums) people have cured their clinical depression p

And as far as long-term effects on the brain, one long-term change that has been shown has been an increase in serotonin receptors, which means that if the brain has limited serotonin, it can use it more efficiently. This is safer than antidepressants that increase serotonin itself, and is one of the reason that long-term ayahuasca use can create permanent improvement in many cases of clinical d
