@ChangedAgain, I love that you mentioned this a few pages ago. I don't hear this talked about much. Enough so that I sometimes think I imagined it. Especially because it was near the end of my time and things were a bit chaotic then, lol.

But, I'm struggling for a year.

Do you happen to have it?

(And we should have this REALLY made into a bumper sticker. I love that we don't know which returned here - and that could go SO many fun ways.)

I had an interesting conversation with an Aunt on this very thing today. We were discussing an odd coincidence and joking around about it's possible meaning. She was never in The Living Word, but knew my mom had brought the family in when we were very young. Just in the last year she admitted that she and the rest of the family knew that The Walk and John Robert Stevens amounted to a cult. It took us a while to get through that, lemme tell ya!

But, it was fun today for me to be able to take it that next step, and share with someone who had NO IDEA what it was really like.

So, I told her that it was VERY DEFINITELY a sign. It could a be a Leading! It could be GOD telling her which direction she should be moving in her life.

BUT! Wait! There's more! It could ALSO be Battle! It could be Satan (oops. I mean residual demons since Satan is dead) trying to trick you into thinking it's a Leading in order to Lead you astray!

She laughed, but she fell right into it.

Her: "Okay. Okay. So How do I tell? Do I pray unceasingly, Fast? Jump rope 50 times around a chair placed upside down in the kitchen while throwing salt out the window? What!?"

Me: You ask your SHEPHERD, DUH!

For once the buggers got it right. It WAS knowledge that delivered us. Not G&M and certainly not some plagiarized "Word" or even "submission." It was knowledge. And we've certainly been delivered.

And about that destroying neighbors part?

Thanks, Jez. If put any effort into it, I know it will suck. But if I relax and just allow the bitter comic in the sky use me as a vessel (not handmaiden), things seem to work out. There's always been a liveliness to this forum, along with the one that preceded it (Factnet). Can't underestimate the value of people being free to express themselves.
