Gladys didn't recognize me the last time I visited her last summer. I don't believe she really understood what has happened to TLWF in the last year and a half. I do know that many of us have special memories of her sneaking us cookies and other goodies :)

Here's a clue I found regarding JRS' "revelation" about the Feast of Tabernacles:

Biblical Feasts

The Lord revealed the importance of the Feast of Tabernacles to John Robert Stevens around 1955. God revealed the very day he was to begin his observance, and even though he hadn’t looked at a Jewish calendar, it was the exact date that Tabernacles was to start that year. God made clear to him the scriptural reality of the feast as he began celebrating it personally during this time, and a few years later he began celebrating it with Grace Chapel of South Gate. He later instituted the celebration of the Feast of Pentecost and the Feast of Passover in the mid-sixties.

I'm assuming that he wouldn't have "written" the Feast of Tabernacles manual until after he had the "revelation". ; )

Of course, if anyone still has a copy of The Feast of Tabernacles manual, please let us know the date of publication.

John's very first prayer:
Thy Kingdom Con!

I’m afraid that John Robert Stevens was more of a con than we ever could have imagined.

I would suggest taking a black Sharpie, crossing out 1955, and writing 1949 instead. That should dispel all the rumors about John being a plagiarist.
The black Sharpie does not lie!

It is pretty clear we had the wool pulled over our eyes before we were taken to the cleaners. Having the 'gift of gab' just made the con all that more impressive.

It is amazing how most of us would never have considered perpetrating the things which both JRS and G&M were responsible for. Chock up one more black spot on Christianity's very checkered past.

No shortage of bad press for our CREATOR--all in the name of our CREATOR.
