I have read elsewhere that for single women, involvement in Landmark has an underlying wish for finding a partner. This, however, almost never happens, and if it does, it is short-lived. I know my friend hooked up with several guys from her Landmark group, but nothing really went beyond that. Also, the other thing that happens is that people involved in LM tend to drag their partners into it. It is probably the single most destructive thing they could do to a relationship.
Of course, LM will say, "LM is not a dating service." Or, "People need to use their common sense when asking their partners to do the Forum."
In fact, for my friend I know that at least one potentially serious relationship vaporized when she sent her mate to the Forum.
Interesting topic, though...
Your right about the underlying wish of single women in Landmark wanting to find a partner. I knew several single women in there that wanted a partner. None of them were successful at it. Of course when they found someone outside of Landmark they tried to recruit the guy. The person that got me into Landmark and convinced me to go because it would do me good in all areas of my life was a woman that I would go out with from time to time. I haven't spoken with her in months now. Really don't care to either.
