Should be back to normal soon. I can delete this stuff again.

It's nothing new or unusual. Just the same old junk.

You might be interested to know the only topics to be hit consistently and continuously are the LGAT threads. Other topics seem not to attract such spam/porn.

They're looking for gullible people IMO. I don't think LGATs care about this site, I could be mistaken

If that were true, the spam would be all over the site.

Check the number of hits on such topics as MKP, Impact, Tony Robbins, and Klemmer. Thousands and thousands of views. How would you explain that?

People who are techies, if they want to get some revenge on someone, can enter their email and website links into various spam engines, and then that gets resold, and the spam will come forever.
They can even do DOS attacks from various zombie machines anywhere in the world.

Also, the LGAT threads get a high Google ranking due to frequent posting and duration, and thus would attract more spambots in general automatically. Many of those threads come up very high in Google, and if you constantly use the full name of the group in your postings, and keywords, it helps in that regard.

The high view numbers in some threads are due to the linking to those threads, and from Google searches for that LGAT. With the Google toolbar, with one click you can see who is linking to a thread.

But didn't Landmark Education attempt to shut this entire website down? Sounds like they care. Also, Royal Way/Jacumba, and various others seem to have attempted to get their threads deleted. They are afraid of an open discussion of their methods that they cannot completely control. Very cowardly.

Most LGAT's techie-cultists would set up comprehensive "Google alerts" to keep tabs on everything going on the internet about their group. Its easy and automatic, and anytime their group is mentioned, they will hear about it as soon as Google indexes it.
On blogs within minutes, on the web, within days.
www.google.com/alerts

Someone like Werner Erhard would certainly have one of his acolytes set up a Google alert for "Werner Erhard", then have them purge all the criticism, and then forward him the single non-negative post about him per month, from the same 3 people.
As soon as this thread is indexed by Google, it will come up under the Werner Erhard alert, and any other groups mentioned by name.

Anyone can set up a Google "comprehensive" internet alert for whatever group you are researching, covering the internet, blogs, news, usenet, and even use Boolean operators to make it more accurate.

And it's all started since we uncovered the truth behind the producers of the Transformation "documentary".

Good theory. It's a shame that this 'spam' is getting through, but it's easy to ignore. Unfortunately it means more work for the moderators.

Why would anyone look here for gullible people? I should think the Rick Ross boards would be the last place to find them. Most of the people here have well functioning B.S. detectors.

The spam attacks are totally boring anyway.

Hi Rswinters, just to clarify -- are you being sarcastic when you state "judging is negative" or do you really think that?

We judge all the time. We make good judgement calls and bad judgement calls.

But perhaps I misunderstood what you were saying.

on the topic of Spambot - what is a Smapbot?
