The Wright Institute for Lifelong Learning?

I was just reviewing some of the old posts about B&J Wright, and remembered that they had written a reply to a lengthy post written by someone who attended a weekend in Wisconsin. The Institute attempted to dispute the facts by a fairly poor attempt at using PR. (The original post was on factnet, the WI response was on factnet at one time and was removed and run on the WI website, and rewritten to be more of a Q&A). One thing that the Wrights said was that anyone who is really in need of counseling is actually referred to an outside licensed therapist for help. I would just like to say that yes, they do refer people to outside help, but the people (I know of only two “therapists” that they actually refer people too) are actually related and support the Wright’s “growth training.” At least three people I know, who either work for WI or are simply followers, have been in “outside” therapy for more than 10 years in tandem with continuing their courses with the Wrights.
I also know that the Wrights were pissed off, as were some of their followers, by the original post on factnet which shared all of the details of the weekend. I’m convinced that they do know we are all posting on this site and factnet, and that they have decided to lay-low instead of responding—but I guarantee that they are monitoring this and they fear any noise that is raised about their training.
I would just like to add that I know members of the cult that have gun permits and guns and keep them in Wisconsin (Chicago does not allow you to own guns). I do not know that Bob is in any way involved in this, or if he owns guns or has a permit. I just want to clarify this point.
As far as the extravagant lifestyle of B&J, I remember on a few occasions that a few cult members have had lots of clothes shipped in from some of Judith’s favorite boutiques in the country for her to pick different things she liked. Of course, the members/friends paid for it, and Judith didn’t. If I remember correctly one of the outfits was for a photo shoot for her Soft Addictions book.
Even death will not part some followers and B&J. One couple has left B&J guardianship of their children, plus of course, the trust for their children, and the insurance money. Another has left Bob as the main beneficiary of their life insurance and entire estate, even though this person has a family. And with that piece of information, those people will most certainly know who I am based on sharing that tidbit.
Oh, and there was a lovely couple, one of them became very involved with the Wrights, and the spouse didn’t (This would have been in the early 00’s). Guess what happened a year after the one spouse became involved with the Wrights? A divorce. Which was ashamed since there were children involved. When I finally saw the one sane spouse they made it very clear that the WI was the reason for the divorce because their spouse basically said that if they didn’t join them in Wright martial training their marriage had no chance. (Excuse the awkwardness of the paragraph as I did not want to use gender to denote who was the follower).
