lets recap all that we have discovered.
I made contact with Kim Barns about 5 months ago regarding the relationship and association that Turning Point Church and SOMA North West has with Mr. Tony Cunningham. I made specific inquirers and references to the video they had posted on their SOMANW web site picturing Tony and Mike teaching students and staff together. I asked then do they recognize Tony Cunning Hame to be an apostle and how did Mike come up with that apostolic title?

Kim Barns lied to me regarding the churches involvement they have with Tony and sent me an email confirming the churches position.
STATING THAT THEY HAD NO INVOLVEMENT WITH TONY CUNNINGHAM (see my posting of her email)

KIM BARNS
Dear Dan,

Thank you for your email. I was not aware of the news regarding the churches. I just read your email and wanted to respond quickly since I will be out of town for 4 days. Pastor Tony is not affiliated with SOMA NW College. Tony has had opportunity to teach as our school, the last time being about 10 months ago at a Strategic Advance Intensive.

I am going to take this information to our Senior Pastor Mike Villamor and elders and we will do some investigating on our own. We will be calling you soon. I would like to ask if you could please not put of church or school in the website until we can have time to respond in more detail.

Here are some quick answers to a few of your questions (I will answer the rest when I have more time and I will talk to you on the phone): Do we practice Spiritual Parenting? No. Spiritual Covering, Discipleship, and Covenant Relationships? Not like it is taught and practiced at Radiant Life, although there are teachings on these in the bible. Pastor Mike did a year long teaching on Discipleship "Into the Nations" - becoming a disciple of Jesus. You can probably hear some of the messages on the web.

We are in no way (never have been) affiliated with Radiant Life Church.

You asked: How much money has Turning Point given Tony for SOMA Sacramento? $0.

I look forward to talking with you.

Kim Barnes

Elder and Dean of Students

Turning Point Church

I believe that Kim deliberately tried to cover up the truth that they were deeply involved with Cunningham out of embarrassment.
Kim Barns is the acting director of SOMA and an Elder of the church.
She later took the position that Turning Point Church of Marysville Washington recognizes that some of Tony's teachings are indeed off based and they will not allow Tony to teach his "Spiritual Parenting Doctrine" However Tony is still practicing this "anti-Christian" life style in his own home with Miss Veronica Ott.
Strange that a group of elders would take a stand yet turn there head with blind eyes allowing Tony to come up and teach Strategic Advance. meanwhile the church has tried to appear like they are distancing themselves from a self appointed apostle, prophet and teacher Mr. Tony Cunningham.
WHAT's up with that behavior?

Now that Mike Villimor acting pastor, is back from a 4 month sabbatical. I know Missionary's who have been out in the mission field for an extended length of time 5-10 years often need to come home to recharge and or finish attending classes working a masters degree. The sabbatical is typically 1- 2 years. Did any one ever ask why a 4 month sabbatical? Is it not that Mike and Cindi were at odds with each other and were sorting things out in there marriage?

Now Mike is back and he has Tony coming back to TPC to teach once again at SOMA NORTH WEST. This is where Tony comes in and holds what he calls an "INTENSIVE". This is a 10-12 hour 2 days of depriving people of physical breaks, manipulating peoples emotions through music, manipulative prayer and chanting, to brainwash and indoctrinate STUDENTS AND STAFF into accepting these false teachings. Tony is masterful at manipulating people, after all he has had a lot of practice doing it here in Sacramento, Elk Grove and Coos Bay Oregon. Go back and research Tony's history. Look at all the churches and pastors that were once associated with him and today will have nothing to do with Tony. Look at the church plants that have renounced Tony and Tony's teachings.

Again if your reading this doubting what I have posted come here and bring evidence that proves me wrong!!!
My challenge still stands I will publicly debate Tony and Mike!
The accusations and testimonies are on the table and we have yet heard anything from Tony or Mike.

You people sitting under Tony and Mike look at Tony's fruit
What happened to these church plants and relationships with Tony???
People do your home work!!!
Radiant Life Church of Katy Texas
Radiant Life Church of Laguna California
Radiant Life Church of West Sacramento
Radiant Life Church of Batangas Philippines
The 60+ churches from the Sacramento Prayer Covenant 2000-2003
The churches involved with "One Voice"
South Sacramento Christian Center
Family Christian Center
Capital Christian Center
Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church
Arcade Church
just to name a few

I do not understand why church leadership can not be honest, even when they are caught red handed embracing the very guy they think is an apostle!
Even if they are trying to break away to be honest & open would be to there best interest.
I believe that if and when they realized that Tony is a fraudulent apostle self promoted prophet and false teacher the best break off would be to publicly and spiritually break off all ties and and soul ties that Tony has attached himself to that is just for starters.

A church that can not be transparent is hiding something.

Tony Teaching at SOMA NW

So there are a lot of Questions For SOMA NORTHWEST and Turning Point Church of Marysville Washington.

MOST DEFIANTLY......THERE IS AN AFFILIATION WITH THE COUNTERFEIT APOSTLE MR. TONY CUNNINGHAM!!!

Braveheart,

I think Mike is pretty independent of Tony in the sense that Mike has his own agenda/vision now, and Tony is incidental within the scope of Mike's dreams. "World Outreach Center" says it all. The world is Mike's oyster.

The poison of grandiosity has already destroyed any spirit of humility that might once have existed at Turning Point. (The false humility that is practiced among "the faithful," for the benefit of their own reputations in front of each other--when they're not around each other, this humility quickly goes by the wayside, from what I have seen within homes and what I have heard from former coworkers, etc.--this false humility is what they would look to in their own mind's eye to quickly dismiss this observation about lack of humility. But they KNOW deep down, how they wear this sham cloak of humility and shed it as soon as no one is looking.) Mike talks about the DNA of Turning Point getting out into the world. He's so proud of his church. But each time he boasts, I cringe. The real apostle Paul detemined that he would not boast in anything or anyone but Christ! But Mike boasts about anything and anyone who promotes Turning Point World Outreach Center. It's apparently his favorite topic (Oops! I mean, his next favorite topic, since he identified his favorite topic in his sermon "Recession-Proof Your Sex Life").

Anyway, the point is that Mike has a firm belief in his own "specialness" as an apostle, (Tony or no Tony, Mike's locked in to this mindset), and he's not about to let go of it. The damage by Tony has been done. There is no point warning that Mike might become like Tony or that Tony is dangerous. Mike won't be swayed nor stopped. He's got his head down and he's charging forward into the Apostolic Reformation. He's charging into the Word-Faith teaching with his new bodybuilding buddy, Ken Ralston, who idolizes occult-based false word-faith teachers from yesteryear, as well as modern-day word-faith gurus, such as Creflo Dollar. Mike wants his slice of the "fame and fortune for Jesus" pie, and he's going for it. He'll have a buff body to go with it, too, now I guess.

People pointing out false teaching issues doesn't even cause Mike to hesitate. He's so confident in his direction. Mike hears directly from God, you know. And God is apparently contradicting His Word these days, because Mike seems to think that if something has to give way when what he hears from God is different from what God's Word says, it's the written Word that must be tossed aside for these words of special revelation he is receiving. Such is the authority of a false apostle.

It's too late to warn about Tony, you see. The monster has been created.

Oh my goodness. Listened to Bob Harrison INCREASE, INCREASE, INCREASE. Live above the income you make. What sense does that make? Change the sign on the door of your mind - Increase is okay. Take ownership of a verse. Become part of the increase team. Have you all been saying Ps 115:14 ten times a day. Go sell crispy cream doughnut coupons. I'm glad he said increase is about others. But who benefited with the upgrade at the Hotel!!
I hope Turning Point didn't pay him much to come and speak. What a waste of money.
How sad to believe in such twisting of God's word.
Lord give us all a spirit of discerment to see the truth. Help us to teach others your truth and not to change what your word says. Amen.
God Bless

"Self" is a plentiful source for all kinds of stuff that sounds good to the human (itching) ear, but is contrary to God's ways. (Satan is a source as well, of course, but most often it's our very own ideas that get us off track.) That's where Mike (and any of us who listen to ourselves) get this stuff. I know you know that--that your question was rhetorical-- nooneofanyimportance, but I'll say the answer out loud just because it's such an important question.

It will always, always, always be true that our ways are NOT God's ways. Our thoughts are NOT God's thoughts. If it sounds like a great idea at first listen, we'd best double check it against the Word of God. Our flesh is not to be trusted, EVER.

I attended a funeral this last Friday. It was my mother-in-laws.

A bunch of the family members met afterwards.

I had an opportunity to talk with her uncle. It was a stunning conversation that will live with me for the rest of my life. He is in his late '70's and since he retired he has been a lay minister. He is a very gracious and gentle man who has raised a great family. What concerns us here is that he said that the pastor in the last 15 years of his ministry became increasingly narcisstic. He had kind of ignored the signs but then his grandson went on staff and noticed things were wrong and the pastor was selfserving and people were getting hurt. He went to his Dad and his Granddad and asked them to go with him and confront the pastor and try to change what was becoming a disaster. They had met together written up their concerns and were going to go to the church when the grandfather changed his mind. He told them not to go and to tear up the paper.

In part because he stopped the confrontation the number of people who got hurt went up exponentially. The most tragic casuality for him was his own grandson. He is now out of the ministry. He said with gutwrenching sorrow that he doesn't believe he will ever go back then he broke down and wept and said something like: "this all happened because I was gutless."

I appeal to you elders and pastors. I ask you to consider your children and your children's children. I believe there is more then enough evidence on the public record that Mike and Cyndi have no real accountablility and you know MORE. Far MORE then I do. I believe these things never change except that people confront those who have gone overboard. If hundreds get hurt and you stand by what will you say to your kids? What legacy will you pass down?

I believe if you had acted with integrity and unity in TRUTH you could have saved TP. You still may be able to save TP. You could also save the family and ministry of Mike and Cyndi. Mike can afford to have one at a time leave without recognizing them but had 4 or 5 or 6 of you all said we are resigning unless you come clean he would have had to repent.

Look yourselves in the mirror and ask:

Have we been faithful to protect the flock?
Have we told the truth?
Have we acted on the truth?
Have we allowed Mike and Cyndi to take the place of God in our lives?
Have we sat back and allowed things we knew were untrue to be said and done?

Many have said many kind things about my wife in I at Turning Point about raising our sons. These things have been said several times by Pastor Mike. I have failed in many regards and our sons are more a reflection of the grace of God then our skill. But one thing I have tried to do is to act truthfully even when it would result in my harm. Therefore I have been able to ask my sons to maintain their integrity even if it hurts. I hope you will be able to say the same thing to your kids.
