It is important to remember that Henri was a victim of cult leader Swami Bhaktivedanta. This video reminded me of Mike Gabbard’s 1977 letter to Swami Bhaktivedanta wherein he admits to heavy drug use and to being a Krishna “life member”. In the same letter, Mike Gabbard (father of Tulsi Gabbard), offers his home as a residence for Krishna “boys”. Curious, huh?

Rama, Your light-hearted, but serious post is great. Yeah, it's time for all exers to no longer be afraid and push back! Butler's followers are potentially more dangerous than the man himself. They are known to visit with the intent to bring stray followers back to the fold or report back to Butler on their status. They also will harass, threaten lawsuits, send anonymous death threats, steal, break, hack computers, threaten violence, and more (allegedly). They will also take a fall to protect Butler IMO.

What people can not wrap their heads around is the supreme arrogance and sense of superiority these "devotees of Butler" have. They truly believe themselves to be above the masses and entitled to lord over them whether they like it or not. They totally do not see anything off in Butler's paranoia and strange practices. This of course is evidenced by the cruel behavior of parents towards their children who have questioned the cult.

One of Butler's housekeepers reported that as far back as the 1970's, Butler was reading books on cults, deprogramming, and mind control. He was studying ways to keep his young followers in the group and to learn their techniques. At a young age he had already discovered how easy it was for him to hypnotize people. Since his main desire in life is for comfort, adulation, and power, he has carefully avoided many of the mistakes made by other megalomaniac cult leaders. He has artfully managed his fears and phobias and still maintained his facade and power base. This is an individual that is not likely to have a fiery or suicidal end. But any one of his followers could go over the deep end.

In this video she talks about her concerns regarding the new cult compound they are building in New Zealand. This is not the first time this has been tried. Isn't there one in Australia? Butler once tried to create a little "Small is Beautiful" village based on the writings of E.F. Schumacher. It was to be a showcase of "simple living and high thinking", a spiritual place in harmony with nature. People were learning beekeeping and Hawaiian plant weaving. He brought over Filippinos to teach his "haole" followers how to make houses out of bamboo and everything else out of coconut.

There was a central temple and chanting deck (location of the foot-washing photo). Householders made nice houses out of natural materials. There was an organic garden. People were having sex and making babies. They put on free vegetarian feasts on Sundays. It was starting to become a really nice community. So what happened? Butler saw that everyone was happy and "enjoying" too much, so he busted the whole thing up. He admonished everyone for the crime of enjoyment. He kicked people off to work on other projects. The place fell to weeds.

The New Zealand project may not suffer the same fate as Koolau. But consider the fate of so many unfinished Butlerite initiatives. Can anyone here list them all?

Eigener Herr legitimately worries about starting an isolated compound that will go the way of so many other cults. Butler certainly has a lot of similar qualities of other doomsday creeps/

Did you know that there are millions of child slaves in India? These are mainly children whose poverty stricken parents have been forced by circumstances to sell them into bonded labour. A human rights watch report has informed that there are between 60 and 115 million child workers in India. That is more than the entire population of the UK!

Very true, Dharmabum, and many of us have pointed that out on this forum.
Tulsi was taught a bastardized version of the world of Vaishnavaism according to
Butler. Butler then took pieces of Christianity (Catholicism) and threw in a dash of New Age’isms (Yoga) and created a whole new “Religion".
You talk to ANY of the cultists and they will tell you “they have studied the Vedas". Tulsi will “swear” upon the Bhagavad Gita.
The ugly truth is that no one in that cult is a learned scholar of the Vedas or the Upanishads.
Indeed, he actually told his minions NOT to read anything written after a certain date, fearing that his slaves would find things written about him that condemed his actions or criticized him.
And things were definitely written about him.
Nothing has changed- he wishes to keep his followers uneducated and dependent on him for their salvation.
Butler made most of it up and stole the rest- stole what was useful for him to gain control and rule over everyone.
Without him having to... Lift One Finger.
That is why he has his “Dalits” and he did not discriminate age-wise. Young and old were taken in and abused at will, all under the guise of “serving" the Master, the Pure Devotee of Krishna.
The only thing that Butler kept going that resembles Hinduism, is the continuation of the suffering of people using religion or philosophy as the weapon of choice.
Butler preaches a fear based philosophy, that only thru him will you be saved and talks about love and goodness while belittling and abusing one and all for material gain and power- how can this be spiritual?
It is not.
It never will be.

If Tulsi ever wakes up to this it may be too late for her.

It is amazing that people still join that Hare Krishna cult and never bother to research A.C Bhaktivedanta said about woman ...the black race or science .
It is even more amazing that Butler still initiate disciple up to this year
and these people never consult the informations on this forum .
I know this for sure because I was one of those who gave my life away to Swami Bhaktivedanta in 1969 ... I got that dangerous brainwashing initiation and became Swami Hanuman eventually ....and then went around the world convincing hundreds of people that Krishna was God and that Prabhupad was perfect ..and in turn I got them to initiated by Swami Bhaktivedanta . It took years and years of therapies and experimenting with teachings of other traditions(mainly Budhism ) to finally say to myself " Henry theses teachings are just plain wrong and stupid" .I even tought my kids when they where young that the black race was an ugly race .(they are now totally deprogram )..because Prabhupad had said so.
Now I am ashame of my behavior then....but what can I do ...the past is the past ...I can only use that time and experience to warn others ...For a normal honest human being ..the initiation process is VERY VERY dangerous ....it was so with Swami Bhaktivedanta and it is even more with Chris Butler ...the act of giving control of your life to a guru and promising to chant 1700 time a day the mantra Hare Krishna ...and in the case of Butler ...giving 25% of ones incomes ...is so karmically bounding 24 hours a day
This truth can only be fully understood by a person that as gone trought such initiation HE or SHE only can really understand..the sufferings and agony of prenegating on those promises to the spiritual master of your mind ..heart and soul ...its mental slavery
In the last few years I have tried to deprogram some of the devotees of Krishna that I had introduce to this process 40 years ago ...a few have now become Hare Krishna gurus in South America
with hundreds of disciples of their own ..I quickly found out that it was impossible ......brainwashing is more insidious that I could have ever imagine .
Recently with the testimonials of Rama and Latita I realize how deeply this brainwashing can be from one generation to another .
Adults that join a cult and decide to worship Butler ...is one thing
But to be born and raise in a cult ...and have to BELIEVE ...all that shit that Butler and WAI LALA are "PURE AND PERFECT " just because your parents say you KIDS HAVE TO ...or they become persona NON GRATA ...it is beyond sad and tragic
Rama and Lalita are truly heroes for trying to find out WHO THEY REALLY ARE
under that pile of lies and deceits that they have been feed all of their life.
