I don't see much to appreciate about Icke.

He doesn't seem worth defending, other than regarding his First Amendment right to spew and sell whatever the public is willing to buy from him.

It is absolutely fair to call into question the credentials of someone who is actively working to discredit another.

That said, I think Icke is a bit loony. But Randi should be fair game too, especially if he is being espoused as the "infallible expert" that we all are "supposed" to listen to.

In my experience over the years (1982-2006) I have found Randi to be reliable regarding his debunking.

I don't recall an example of when he said something was bunk and it was not.

But if you want to discuss Randi further open up a new thread.
