Brain science or rocket surgery is mind-boggling. I will assume everyone has heard of the National Prayer Breakfast.? some months back I was referred to a youtube video on this. In that video, it talked about King David fling as well. Is anyone else familiar with what I'm blabbering about? These men and women believed, according to the expose', that they were above the law as was

CARe March 25, 2020 03:31AM "Wood". I'm laughing at the pun or Freudian slip. Perhaps I should not lol. "WJ" and a young woman? How do I word this? In my mind WJ, Dad Stevens could do no wrong. He was a rock for me. My pastor whom I trusted as a young girl. But... I have pondered why JRS became the narcissistic womanizer that he was. ??? ( My observation for

th231955 March 25, 2020 12:52AM Yes, that was an interesting time in Washington. I was in college at that after being ordered to dump the love of my life, then to marry someone else in the Wash church. ( I was 19 to 22) I was only at service Sat Pm ( That my date with my future husband- oh so spiritual.) and I played piano on Sunday AM. Being at the piano gave me a very weird perspective.

Happy to have you aboard th231955 I want to comment on your statement, ..."Godly man! I wonder how he could have gotten so evil! " It sure seemed that way, but, IMO it was only an illusion. Many more than I saw indiscretions here and there and questioned the 'human flaws" under our breaths, in our heads or even voiced the irregularities out loud and paid dearly for

the podcast was incredibly well done. It had to have taken a lot of work to organize the timeline and give credits. Caleb was so on target. My son listened to it with interest. For those of us who lived it so much of it, it was very clear. For my son, I had to fill in the details - which is as it should be- not too revealing.

Thanks, Reep for posting "To Be a Christian" with permission. UGH! I've been aware of that one for some time. but, still, the gut-wrenching is far worse than leaning there is no Santa Claus. I also skimmed through The Feast of Tabernacles and a few more- without using a plagiarism checker the verbiage and rhythm is what I recall as the same as having read JRS alleged work. ( My

Wow. We have some very potent reading here. thanks, everyone for contributing. I believe it is important to put into to perspective the sad reality that if anyone had complained back in the '60s even, our cries would have been ignored on the social level. society failed to protect. The law failed to protect. But, Christian ethics were always there. Our 'church' should have Bibli

Hey, all you rabble-rouser who left the insanity. I see I did not word that quite right. I get stressed when telling this sh*t and type worse... I have to fix my words in my above post. Reepicheep, Looking back, yes, I think it was illegal. Here is an example: my adult son is his own power of attorney as he is mentally competent tho' physically disabled. He got sick. I called the on-call medical provider and was told to take him by ambulance to the ER on Friday. On Friday my son refused to go. That was his right to refuse tho I did not agree. On Saturday his temp was h

February 11, 2020 09:37AM Kboy With no calendar and no sleep, I had no idea of the dates for a while. One of my kids turned 4 in late '77 so I think it was after March '78 some time.
