I saw the old commercial that said, "You meet the nicest people on a Harley." We discussed this in my Marketing Management class when I was going for my Master's degree in business.

I was very occupied while being in the Ben Yishai cult. But the group went sour and I had to move on. I can't believe that it's still in business. I knew Gary Coons, Hickman's successor and some people wanted me to date his sister, Darlene. It was many years ago. I am involved with a Presbyterian Church and they helped me find a new place to live. The church has given me s

Interesting idea: Got any data? Where are they "leaving in droves", in America?? Europe??? Israel???? Certainly not out here in the rest of the world, if "drove numbers" means anything and missionaries aren't just lying. Church attendance is down all over the country. QuotepauliztarzaSuppose kids are playing football in your street and ball breaks your window. They come in and say "We are sorry", turn and start to leave. What would you tell them ? I'd call their parents and make them pay for the damages. But what does that have to do with this being an anticult site? I am still wondering why you have posted this here.

Does that include Atheism? By your spelling of g-d, I would think not. However, I'm just wondering. I know I'm knit-picking, but you still spell g-d with a capital G. It tells me that either you're not over what has happened to you, or you're apt to appease the masses, and still religious. Which is it? You know, religion is a political being. Nothing more. Religion, in i

Quotepauliztarzahttp://www.swaminarayan.org/ Thats what I found on the msn search There are so many Hindu sects. What makes this one unique? They seem to worship a man who was alive about 200 years ago and not any gods like Krishna, Shiva, Rama, or Vishnu. Is this correct? And do they welcome outsiders?

It seems to me that "Creation in the image of God" is a matter of degree and is not absolute. All of the animals have a type of intelligence that is germane to their needs for survival. I can tell you many wonderful stories about Duchess, Zeus, Princess

The first Shlomo Carlebach Songbook had that quote in it. You might want to gain some knowledge that his synagogue has on it. They could give you a Jewish perspective at least. (info@carlebachshul.com or .org - I forgot which ending). Judaism makes extensive use of extrabiblical texts (like the Talmud and the Midrash as well as the Zohar, Bahir, Sefer Yitzirah) and commentaries to flesh

Shlomo mentioned on a video that I had that he "was working with young people" for about 40 years. Sure, because when people are young they are inexperienced and they have nothing to compare notes with. Shlomo said on The Gift of Shabbos recording that a "little boy, about 14 years old....". Surely, youth is wasted on the young. Several years ago, several

People are leaving Christianity in droves and Judaism is also experiencing similar problems. All of this opens people up to experimentation with new ideas. Often times, people leave one thing to wind up in something worse. I dialogue on this board to help people out and to gain a perspective on how to handle my own, oftentimes dysfunctional relationships with G-d and people.
