There are several incorrect statements in Cox's video. Like the name of Grace Chapel being changed to Genesis Chapel. Wasn't it the other way around? And I recall JRS passing away in early June '83 and being buried in Shiloh in August or Sept of 1983. Not that odd to me. Another thing annoying is the wrong voice spliced onto the video of John. That's just tacky film-mak

Lily Rose, I have seen the Woodrow Nichols expose' referenced here before, but with your comment yesterday I located and read it today. Thank you. Way more detailed and in depth than I imagined, very well written. He did a great job. Also now I know much better what I used to believe than when I actually believed it. The description of the mine debacle filled in a lot of details I alway

It's not ridiculous to expect your clergy to have some higher education, but it is ridiculous to push them to get degrees from your own church university, especially when you are in a "shepherding" relationship with these people. Talk about a conflict of interest! The simple fact is, official degrees were never valued in The Walk before Shiloh University existed. People have bee

lily rose quoted II COR 2:17 --- Unlike so many, we do not peddle the Word of God for profit. --------------------------- Wikipedia says this letter to the church at Corinth was written by Paul roughly from AD 53 to 57. So within maybe twenty-five years of the resurrection you already have leaders exploiting the people. Are these leaders actually prophets sent by God who have gone bad o

In addition Changedagain, add to your list Living Word Fellowship Trust and Shiloh University. I'm inspired by Paul, "Unlike so many, we do not peddle the Word of God for profit." (2 Corinthians 2:17)

Thanks for the welcomes and replies everyone. I'm pretty much over my bitterness/anger toward TLWF at this point, the Cox video is more of a curiosity than anything. It sounds like it may not be worth the effort of tracking down. One thing that's always helped me, that I've realized since leaving, is how small and insignificant TLWF really is. When I was a part of things, it alw

Hi everyone, former TWLF member since birth here. I was very active in the church at Shiloh. Left a few years ago and it was the best decision I ever made! The forums at FactNet were a big part of how I realized how ridiculous and manipulative this "church" is. Glad to see the discussion is still alive here. Anyhow, does anybody know where I might be able to find a copy of "Vain

From the Shiloh site, regarding what to expect from the SOP conference that begins Saturday: "This is our expectation for the School of Prophets Conference – that it will be a gathering of believers who want nothing more than to simply walk with God and from that humble place, a word of authority will be spoken that shakes this age."

During my time at Shiloh the movie Grease was popular and John Miller warned us about one of the female characters, Rizzo, being a "channel." I don't think so.

A while back during a vacation and much to my surprise, stayed at a b&b inn that was owned/run by Carol Grunenberg. Carol and Craig once pastored South Gate and Honolulu. After they divorced Carol dropped Grunenberg as her last name. Carol, Lucy Gospodnetich (Honolulu Fellowship,) and Margeret ? (Shiloh late 70's) are cousins and were beneficiaries to the $250 Million sell of the family

I left in 1980. Some months ago a friend led me to this site and fact net. Some of what I have learned here occurred decades ago. But one thing that stands out are the family members and friends who use this site to speak up for their loved ones and friends. In particular, the daughter who recently spoke out about the way her dying mother was disrespected and treated by the San Diego pastor/chur

John S. (the former Palmer Lake pastor) tells kids at the Shiloh summer camp “let me be a REAL father to you, since your blood father isn’t able to be that for you.” Some kids bite at this bait and it is very destructive to their families. Eventually, most kids get wise to this when the time comes where they are in need of a father and John S is nowhere to be found. The Living Word leaders

I was thinking about all the odd things that the congregations of the Living Word churches went thru over the years. Some of the “fads” were just things that a lot of that generation was experiencing in America, but then there were others that we unique to the culture of the LW. Here’s my attempt to list them, in no particular order. Some of them are sad, some of them are weird, and most of th

I know of many “little people” who worked long hours for less than minimum wage in “kingdom businesses”, and then spent their remaining “free time” in intercession to bring down “Babylon” - which had taken the form of a competitor’s paint roller, book cover or clothing. The few companies that managed to survive on the backs of other’s sacrifice provided some financial relief for a few at the to

invisible – great scriptures and points on an unequal yoke. Many have pointed them out over the years yet they do not seem to break the spell when people choose to follow a leader over the scriptures. It’s sad we have to suffer so much before we finally go back to the teaching Jesus originally gave us. I just spent several days at Warren Jeffs hometown in Arizona doing electrical training and

I trust God will use your testimony to help heal others and correct their course. What will the future bring to the Living Word? If I may speculate, here's my predictions..... I predict that with membership dropping, churches will continue to shut down. I suspect that DC will be next, then San Diego. SD already closed down their school which was a source of income for them. With so little members in place and with about 80% of tithes being sent to the APCO su

PALEFACE: Who exactly is APCO? I have heard people refer to apco and didn't know who it was, but never got around to asking. Also, I heard that long after I left the Walk a word went out for people to move out west. I think I heard about it from a friend of mine that stays in touch with one of the guys and his wife that were in the church in Detroit with him back when Frances Frangepane

The things we have been posting about are not unique to us who used to be part of the Living Word Fellowship. School of Prophets? Shiloh? Apostolic Company? These are not new to the world, only new to our experience. You can find many references that journey back many years concerning t

Oh yea, I forgot. Whatever happened to Bob Raba and his sister. I met Bob in Shiloh. I remember the two of us cleaning up around the kitchen and sweeping around the tables and all where we ate our meals. His sister I recall used to drive a tractor trailer. She visited us in Atlanta when she was came through on a trip. We went for a ride in her truck.
