Speaking of the cloud of witnesses, I wonder if John & Marilyn are getting along? I haven't heard anything about them speaking in unison. Are they at odds about which direction TLWF should head? Is it something more personal? BTW, I grew up in a family where Mom and Dad pulled in opposite directions, argued about seemingly everything, and it was no picnic. The kids always suffer. F

"Excuse me, sir. Do you want His miracle power to cleanse and transform you? I didn't think so. O.K.--well, have a nice day." (that was pretty much the extent of my evangelical prowess back in the day).

kBoy shared: EX-TLW ALUMNI: Francis Frangipane I never met Francis. Based on what is written in Wikipedia, and your impression of him, it's a shame he didn't have more influence over what became of TLWF. I'm sure that could be said of quite a few in leadership roles that were either forced out or simply left disillusioned. Thanks for sharing. BTW, I'm of the opi

A very happy New Years to all the ex-prophets, ex-men and women of God, Nephilim, Jezebels, Male spirits, bitter blowouts, cross-dodgers, pure atmosphere violators etc. that inhabit this board. I appreciate every one of you. Hope you enjoy this coming year. You deserve it!

SouthGate: "I think that was before your time in SG, maybe 1985 when Dan did it, but he was the one leading the song at the time." I was close to Dan--we liked each other. I understood his zeal, at times misguided, but didn't fault him for it, since I was aware of the pressure on him to please those over him. I know he meant well--in spite of his ego. I was very saddened by t

I will be the first one of admit my feelings were hurt by leadership...especially when Marilyn told my wife to kill me. I was really sensitive to that particular directive. Fortunately, my wife got distracted and never carried it out. I think she was into baking at the time.

Another reason might be because a person condoned things going on until one day either they were crossed or they couldn't pretend anymore." Good to hear from you, South Gate.
