That ship has certainly sailed. Plus I have no desire to be compared to King David, who allegedly wrote Psalm 51 after having his friend killed and taking his wife. What a guy. If God called that mess "a right spirit", then I have a quarrel with the Big Guy upstairs (aka God).

Blowout, I tend to agree with your opinion about religion. I still teeter on the edge of non-religion while yet holding a kernal of faith. I will probably never attend a church again. But I do believe that it is possible to have a personal belief system that is private and does not seek to convince others. To me, that is personal, and not a step towards cult mentality.

Changed: Great post from GSchaeff. "Current members have suddenly been forced to question their innermost beliefs. These are core beliefs that have been deeply rooted for decades. I never felt more alone than the day I began asking myself those deep questions about TLWF. It is beautiful to see old friends being there for each other; it gives me hope for the future." Changed and kBOY, oh my! Where to begin. I'm glad that they are theoretically not meeting during a pandemic, so that's something anyway. The fact that work is being done remotely to continue putting out Hidden Treasures aka ancient JRS sermons, WOW! Gotta keep that money for standing orders coming in. True kBOY. Does anyone know if TLW wordworkers are considered essential workers? I hope not. Because leaders there will use people up and spit them out. They only care about themselves.

They do their best to destroy any part of your life that they feel is threatening to the "hive mind" or to the hypnotic spell that keeps people oppressed and submissive to leaders. Then when you leave broken and having spent most of your life beaten down, they expect you to remain fearful and quiet like a mouse in the corner for all of your remaining days. Once awakened, former members

TH, yes. I remember the Bless Ins of the late sixties and early seventies. JRS claimed that spiritual energy flowed from the palm of one person's hand and could be "drawn" by the back of another person's hand. He also said that spiritual energy flowed from left to right. He would have two or more people form a circle with right hand under their neighbor's and left hand ov

Thanks, TH. Glad you are chiming in. JRS was indeed controlling people from the very beginning. It took some of us a very, very long time to realize this.

Typer, I hope that it can help people still being fooled by Gary Hargrave too. The podcast is excellent, but if you don't have time to listen right away, there is also a link to a transcript on the website.

I agree with Invisible's, kBOY's and Changed's perspectives regarding Marilyn. John and Marilyn's public wedding took place at Church of His Holy Presence in Anaheim on October 4th, 1980. However, public records show that they were legally married on September 8th of 1980. Could that have been the private ceremony that Invisible attended? Or was there a previous private "
