There isn’t much you can say to people to make them snap out of it when they believe that the overseer or overseers of their church is deity or have a special relationship with deity that entitles them to be obeyed without question. You could tell them to just drive down the street and test the waters at another church. See if those pastors demand their money to fund their lavish lifestyles.

I heard a long time ago that the Walk leadership suggested that the people of the various churches close down and move out west, and other than a couple of the churches did just that.
