QuoteHopeful SoulArmy-of-me, No need to apologize for your comments of yesterday questioning my comment on the Impact learning statement, “The purpose of life is to learn.” Your reaction is typical of LDS folks exposed to the Impact false, vain and foolish doctrine.... Quotearmy-of-me QuoteHopeful Soul The purpose of life therefore for a Mormon is not to learn, as Impact says, but to prove

You may think it strange, but I have enjoyed the spam-shower. It would seem our collective sword thrusts have hit home. Nothing like a visible display of hypocrisy from these LGAT moral-elitists to warm the bones. :)

QuotePassionateIts called an alternate name. It is derived form a painful experience from that person's past. "Grandpa's Joy Toy" might be given to someone who was sexually abused by their grandpa. This name is used for about a day in place of their real name. The staff all get together on one of the breaks and sit in the lunchroom discussing these shared experie

Quoterrmoderator The primary difference between the two LGATs seems to be the addition of certain religious beliefs. Isn't that so? That is so.

They did not go into detail, but it was their impression that a few people who were married to other people were in the same bed or sleeping bag or something for a night. It was a rumor understand, but it was wide spread. The details were fuzzy, but the occurrence of the misconduct was not. That was their impression, and Hans' chastisement of the group confirmed the suspicions.

QuotePassionateThis may be a bit off subject, but on those retreats Hans seems to like the women a little too much. You will get no argument from me on that score. But you may not want to limit it to just the retreats. Now for Rsw, The Impact Training track is thus: Quest - the introduction and initial conditioning Summit - the reinforcement and indoctrination of that conditioning Lif

QuotePassionateDoes anyone care to tell about a TIT III retreat they have been on? Like the one a few years ago where they 'released' the trapped spirits of a Pioneer slaughter in Central Utah? I wasn't there, but I did have a few acquaintances who were still in TIT3 for the Native American thing who told me all about it. They had been on the fence about being in TIT when the tr

QuotePassionateEximpact, I find your banter and passion endearing. You really do feel strongly in victims. If they keep seeing themselves as victims they will remain that way for a longer period of time. In your psychology studies I'm sure you have come across that fact. Actually, in my studies, it is not such a cut and dry matter as you make it out to be. Again, you speak about somethi

Well, how about instead of using your mind or your heart, why not use your brain? I mean, it controls the heart muscle and all emotional and rational processes occur there. Why is it that the most complicated organ in the world shouldn't get the nod for all the credit. Evidentially it is quite well documented that your brain can do all the things attributed to both the mind and "heart&q

While quite shocking, this "Quest mob" mentality is the ultimate goal of not only Impact, but the LGAT format in general. Group dynamics are a complicated form of classical conditioning, and over the last 40 years or so the techniques have become sophisticated. The trainers at Impact justify this unethical behavior and dishonorable treatment of people because, well, we are the enemy. In

Why do we have to agree in order to continue to have a dialogue? I must admit, I don’t l
