So very sad. If a doctor tried something similar to this, he would lose his license. Or on the other hand, someone mimicing a doctor. I just do not understand why this is allowed to occur without some kind of guidelines. It absolutely boggles my mind. We are so consumer conscious. and yet we allow something like this to slip away? I just do not understand it.

My friends trainer was John Hanley, Jr. John Hanley, Sr. was the founder of Lifespring, and his son is still listed on the website under Who We Are as a trainer. So I would bet Lifespring, before Landmark.

If I knew of a location that was offering these forums for children, I would most assuredly report it to Child Protective Services, in detail. There are laws to protect children, and I would imagine if a CPS official had documented information about these forums, that perhaps there could be an intervention. It's certainly worth a try.

My friend just called me. The name of the trainer is John Handley, Jr. lol John Handley's baby boy. My friend sounds normal, so perhaps so far so good. He mentioned that he will most likely not sign up for the third installment. He will be back next week. I'm sure he will be pressured to sign up for the next workshop.

I called the BBB in Nevada, and was informed that if this is a seminar, there is virtually nothing they can do. Now why does that not surprise me? lol I noticed on the workshop dates, there is no location listed. I would imagine they are renting a ballroom in one of the many Vegas hotels.
