Yes, I believe that the law firm is so expert in the matter of clergy/ church sexual abuse they must have believed them. This is wonderful news. In my experience valid cases of ab use are blown off from the abuse investigators form the get -go all too many times. I guess they have their criteria -if you don;t use the right words they go on to the next case. Also in my experience the accused c

Puddington I wish you had warned me to put in ears plugs. While a video of Yoko Ono screaming like a cat seems a bit off subject I think it puts into perspective the film Vain Glory when Tony Cox says he was searching for god or something like that - Yoko and he were into weird stuff. - Cox time of hiding out with his daughter just did not seem to have a complete perspective of the walk. ) O

Welcome MaggieB it's always possible your mother and I crossed paths. So many of us got moved around. Re Tony Cox he was pointed out to me on the steps of The church of His Holy Presence in Anaheim around'78 yo 80. Someone said, " that Yoko Ono's daughter." I replied, What's a Yoko Ono?? I was kid in 1957 when my parents joined Christian Tabernacle in Washing

Here's the thing about waiting so long to report - if I can explain it. Up to a certain time literally no one listened. Investigators were very poorly trained - there just was not enough good information because those "dirty little secrets were swept under the rug." If'"daddy' or Uncle tommy bob were to be accused of molestation and convicted the entire family struct

It has often led to failures by evangelicals to report sexual abuse, respond appropriately to victims and
