I hear the building was broken into 2 weeks ago. What was your perception of it? Was it: a) We are under attack from demons, its all part of the attack, we must be doing what God wants us to do? b) We must be going dreadfully wrong somewhere, we’ve lost God’s protection? c) We just become another crime statistic in Merseyside? I could be way off the mark here, but I bet all en sun

Why are we on this site? to be healed, to explain, to see justice? I can only echo what onlyme, firefly etc have said, we do ourselves no service by saying certain things about certain people who are still in kcf. I know plenty of stuff about others there, but its not relevant to this site. Two persons i hold responsible for the abuses here, and they are the two people i have n

Now that you've seen other points of view, let me make a few comments. Some folk on this site may come over to you as angry people. Thats because they are angry, very angry at the way they we're treated in a place that should have been a refuge for them. It was a place were childhoods we're lost, faith was abandoned and minds were destroyed. If i could make you experi

There has to be an uncovering. Bringing things into the light, so people can be healed and move on. I'm so sorry for your pain and so sorry, that i, as an ex-leader of kirkby christian fellowship was partly responsible. When i left I thought they we're a christian church and i was desparate to have peace with them, although i knew i could never go back. I just couldn't take

goldfish living in a bowl that is painted black on the outside will never know it lives in a bowl unless someone takes it out and shows it the rest of the world. Mindsets can be like that - locked into a `thinking box', unable to see outside because the web of beliefs is so all-encompassing. To you get the message?

Commitment, now there's a one-sided deal, if i ever saw one. I too went down this road, i can't remember how many times, its usually 5 yearly intevals. My commitment went something like this: "I promise i will stay commited to kcf, to live in the area and not to move, to support the pastors in any way possible" I think, but can't swear to it that this was an expected

Dear Abigail. 'For God so loved this world that He gave His only begotton Son'...Matt 3v16 Let no one decieve you abigail, God loves you so much, I know. He sent his son knowing they would turn against him. When I was a sinner, when He knew all about the worst in me, He loved me. when i came to the cross, the only thing that changed was that I knew He loved me. Our love m

Hi Only me. is when i read about you and how you feel 'burnt out' because of this 'fellowship' that makes me determined to challenge kcf. I heard folk say 'its better than i was before' is this a tacid acceptance that it was 'off-beam' before? As for the 'now' I believe its worst than ever the control is still there, the manipulation

All the things spoken about here, wedding dress, crazy teachings etc, just bring back what it was really like in that place. It wasn't a nice place to be in, it seems so ridiculas now, but you just put up with it, thinking god must be here somewhere. Do you know we were all totally wary of following 'this map' having to get on 'board this train' 'climbing the next bi

I like everyone here left a cult that masqueraded as a church. That was 6 years ago. My family and I went through hell after we left, overnight we were treated as if we didn't exist. looking back we got support from a really good friend who was a pastor at another church. It kept us on track. sometimes i think we didn't give oursleves enough time to 'grieve' for what had happe

Onlyme.. thankyou so much far your time in doing this. i very much appreciate it, its nice to hear from you. On the knitted relationships, I left the 'fellowship' about 6-8 after this all started. It all started with one 'relationship' yes you've guessed it, cheryl doyle and a younger female. She used the Johnathan/David relationship. This was indeed a sp

I think we sometimes get confused or misunderstood. People may not know what 'defines' a cult have a look at the check list on this website see what you think. some people deny today that men landed on the moon, some even deny the holocaust ever happened. What are you in denial about?

Hi To all. I've thought long about the pain I and my family have gone through because of kcf. Terrible things that no parent should have to go through, especially a the hands of a church we once belonged to. That as a family we have been able to continue in our own individual walk with God, is a testement to His saving grace, I am awe-struck at the way God has moved in all our liv

Its been a while since we were all 'on-line' in that time i would like to think that everyone who has read all these accounts, has used it to reflect upon what their part has been played in it. If you, like me, have been caused pain and abuse by this 'fellowship', take heart, your time has come to 'shout it from the roof tops' If you belong to this '

Dear Rev. I endorse completely what you have said here. I am also thankful that you as a leader can see the pitfalls of stifling honest debate and opinion. It is so sad, but you are abosolutely correct when you say, these things ought not to have happened, but could and should of been handled with care, compassion, love and mercy. I believe with my heart that if we could have come together

If this story wasn't so sad with what happened to trina&other lady, The background is awful. These two people had been accused of spreading 'roumours' about a sweet girl who was fostered by the doyles. She was about 15 at the time. They accused them of saying she had a life outside of the fellowship, seeing a non-christian boy etc. They made these two people go through this

The second half of the story..... I find this episode totally deplorable, disgusting and downright evil. and yes, to think one person is a social worker the other an ex teacher. well done dave&cheryl.... I got permission to share this as the person does not have access to the web. When Trina went, the other person pulled the black stone out of the bag. Can you imagine how that person felt,

Just A quick Note, I'll uodate you later today about: The other person involved with the 'stones in the bag' She's not on the web, so i'll need her permission. Also that 'cult note' that went arround the 'fellowship some years ago. I know who it was and contact them to see if they want to give their stories. The way this forum is going can only b

Do not be afraid of them. as for 'plotting' if anyone here suffers any intimidation by any members of this 'fellowship', post it on the forum. It will be evidence against them. Yo Trina you make me laugh!! On a more serious note your experience with the doyles, when you had to pick a stone out of the bag. In the old Testament This was the 'urim and humin' stones. The thing was used to settle aruments make important decisions etc, when the people were unsure what to do. This what they did to you and that other person was scandlous. For his alone the doyles

An Open lettere to he members of Kirkby Christian Fellowship.. John 13 34-35 I'm aware by the high number of hits this web site has taken in the last several days that more than ex-members have been viewing it. I write this letter to all of this 'fellowship', I am aware how information is suppressed unless it is fed through the top first, this information is then turned

If you are reading this and have been hurt/damaged by the actions of this church. Please join and do two things... 1) It will give a more realistic number to the actual walking wounded that have come out of KCF... 2) It just may be a small step for you on the long road of recovery. Iknow when done properly, sharing without knowing who you are can help a little. Think about it.

Dear Broken & Bruised & Firefly. You have my total respect for the way you have been open with us, sharing painful memories. I think the one thing that kept me from totally losing it was i had good freinds who where in the same place as i was, we could support each other in our lowest times. We must help each other thru this and any other way possible.

When I and my wife left, we were numb with the pain, but what kept us going was we knew we had done the right thing. we also knew God still had a calling on our lives and as much as I did'nt really want it, a calling to stay in kirkby. I would have loved to have got as far away from the place as possible, we put our house on the market , twice but nothing came it. We knew it was important
