I haven't heard of them, but you might consider asking Jon Hunter. He is South African, and has been studying LGATs in South Africa, for a number of years. I'm sorry that nobody has responded to your post, up until now. I'm no expert, but it does sound like an LGAT to me, (i was in Landmark). I wish you the best of luck in finding answers.

Oh yes! This is the interview where Chris Shelton interviews Dale Dickins. Great stuff! Chris Shelton also recently interviewed John Hunter PhD about the effects that LGATs have on the nervous system. John Hunter has posted on this message board about his research, and i think he's spot-on. From what I've seen and experienced, I think he draws accurate conclusions, (though i'm

Here's a little more information about the LifeAfterLandmark channel on YouTube. The name of the channel creator is Dale Dicksin, who was on staff in Australia. (I wanted to clear it with her before i posted her name). She has been very up-front about her experiences on staff, and during training. She is also interviewing other ex staff members, who have had their own mistreatment to rep

Here's another former Landmark staff member, with a Youtube channel, exposing Landmark's dirt. Great stuff! So glad they've finally got this ball rolling. LifeAfterLandmark

For anyone interested, a former higher-level Landmark staffer, Brian Nord, has started up his own Youtube channel. He has uploaded two videos, so far. In his first video, he is interviewed by a former Scientologist. In his second video, he interviews another former Landmark staffer..They are starting to spill (some of) the beans. Here is the link to his channel

This isn't an LGAT, but i don't know where else to paste this. It's an extremely dangerous online group targeting kids as young as 8. The cult-like tactics all seem to be there; everything from love-bombing to blackmail, and they make increasingly more perverse demands of the kids, (including demands that they commit suicide online). I understand if somebody wants to move this

I don't know if this was their "privacy" policy, at the time when i was taking their courses, but i was not shown this. Since they keep information on people, and i don't see anyplace here where they get rid of it after someone leaves the program, it wouldn't surprise me if they applied this to past participants, as well. I will afford Landmark exactly as much privacy as

I was looking for some information and stumbled upon this. This is extremely creepy, and it's on Landmark's own website. For the part that was of special interest to me, click on: "Types of Personal Information We Collect." They mention biometric information, genetic information, sexual activity, religious and political beliefs, etc, And i don't see where it tells us h

@SomewhereInMiddleAmerica They say, "It's not for everybody," but when i decided it wasn't for me, (after giving it more than a fair chance), they hounded me with phone calls for months. My recruiter's partner also informed me that she and my recruiter were "grooming" me to take over the job of a staff member who was leaving. They hadn't asked me if

It makes me almost physically ill that you would get on this message board and defend this program. These boards are full of people who have been seriously injured or had their lives destroyed by LGATS and other cults. To read your post is like reading a post by someone who dated Ted Bundy and didn't get murdered, so they go online and tell everybody, "He's not that bad." Grow

I haven't been around Landmark since 2009, but my experience was ghastly, long lasting, and life-destroying. I gained absolutely nothing from the program that I hadnt already gotten elsewhere - really, it's just a bunch of reframing mixed in with mind-fuck. I would strongly advise anybody and everybody to stay well away from it. You may have gotten away in one piece, if you didn't

They attempt to normalize incest and pedophilia, and blame rape victims for their own attacks. If you don't believe me, read the last post, (on Page 1), in this link:

@SirReal, @AmeliaRobertson You're not wrong. Although my experience was at Landmark, (and i was there for over a year), what you have written, SirReal, is so familiar that I would have to say the programs are identical, for all intents and purposes. The creepiness is noticeable right from the start. It's a wonder that anyone actually signs up, but they are already causing people to d

@Natahoo, So are you saying that this firm would be willing to take these cases? These cases are notoriously difficult to prove. LGATs are extremely slippery, and cover their tracks. Also, by the time they get to the point of bringing it to court, the clients are usually broke. They would have to take most of the cases on the basis that they get paid if they win the case. Also, it is p

rafaelrarq You wrote: "But Forum made my low self steem even lower, I started to hate my self without perceive it." That's exactly what the Forum, (and pretty much what all Landmark and LGATS programs), are designed to do. Don't be too hard on yourself. I guess it IS important to talk about it. You might want to find a therapist who helps people through trauma. I d

rafaelrarq. When i realized how far they had gotten with me, i got away from Landmark, and anybody who had any involvement with Landmark. I cut off a lot of people i had once believed to be friends. If i got a call from or about Landmark, I blocked whatever phone number the call came from. Then, I surrounded myself with family and old friends who had never been to Landmark. It was sort o

@bd, I was involved with Landmark for a little over a year. During seminars, they would train us on how to anticipate and sidestep peoples' reasons, (or according to them, "excuses"), for not attending, but we weren't actually given a script for recruiting people. The Forum leaders do follow an actual script, but the rank and file participants are just told to notice wh

* I should add that, in reality, those legal booby traps in their forms are "empty and meaningless," however. When you look at those contracts with a clear head, it's obvious to most that they would never hold up in court. What I imagine is that they will all someday be charged under the RICO Act, (which is all about racketeering). It's ironic how they talk so much about &

John, you're right about much of that, and everything about them is sleazy. I'm not giving up hope of that takedown, though. There is also timing involved. Why show our hand, (or our identities), before we've got everything lined up to act? They will try to destroy the credibility of anyone who they consider a threat, so I give warnings here, and vivid descriptions of behavior,

John, Yes, Leah Remini has been brave, as have the others whom she has interviewed. But what have the tangible results been? I haven't seen the church of Scientology shut down. I haven't seen arrests. In fact, COS has expanded, in recent years, into my state. It wasn't here before. She gives warnings to those who will listen, but she hasn't stopped them. People who do t

John, I understand your frustration that we aren't all jumping to get on YouTube with our stories, but the way I see it, it's kind of a trade-off. If I were to get on YouTube, they would be able to identify me, and then I would have to be careful about what I said, lest I ended up getting sued. I think that most of us would also be concerned over the safety of family members, etc. O

facet, I read the book when it first came out. I have read that he has added to it. I liked the original version. I can't vouch/don't know what was added later. Personally, I don't worry about being hypnotized unawares by written material. I have read some books, (not this one), that had self-hynosis exercises, but it told me what they were. I could choose to do them, or not.

Sorry for the sidetrack, (again), John Hunter, PhD Back to what you're saying, "Landmark, like LGATs before it, does not explicitly state, “Do not think, and do not challenge what is being said, because it is difficult to manipulate you when you do this”," We no, they don't explicitly state that, but you learn very quickly that if you challenge anything, you will spend

facet, I would not say that the book uses hypnosis techniques. It has been years since I read the entire thing. As i recall from reading the excerpt, the book describes what might be considered a hypnosis technique that is used by police to help victims or witnesses to recall details. I don't know if you read the excerpt, (it's a short read), but to summarize it, a woman was rap

John Hunter, I'm not saying that instinct or intuition should be trusted over rational thinking. I don't think that Gavin Dr Becker is saying that, either. I am much aware of some of Oprah's leanings. I only used that link because that was the only excerpt i could easily find, at the time. I have previously used other links as excerpts for that book, but couldn't find them

Gavin de Becker talks about trusting one's gut in "The Gift of Fear," and also gives a scientific explanation, (he has also trained secret service agents. This can be confirmed by looking up his bio). Much of what he is saying is that we know more than we think we do. We have thousands of pieces of information being processed by our brains, at any moment, but are only focused on tw

John Hunter PhD posted a quote from a book about est, in which a woman related a story of incest, then: "Immediately after that woman finished sharing another woman stood up and said, ‘I just realized listening to this woman how much I loved my father and part of me wished my father had committed incest with me." That second woman sounded like she was planted, to me, if it ever ha

If that's the case, Robbins should have to pay them for every single minute they spend on those drugs.
