I have been looking into this cult for some time. I did find out a lot of fascinating stuff - much of which I can't write about here, out of respect for those people which were kind enough to put their trust in me and share their stories. Allegedly: Yes, the Mooji organisation are a destructive cult. They exploit people for fee labor under harsh conditions. They groom people in order t

Dear rrmoderator, dear Ananas and all of the contributors of this incredibly important source of true information: THANK YOU!! I would like to write thank you more than one time here but M. always repeats thank you three times at the end of his indoctrination, manipulation, brain washing sessions, so I only write it once. But my thank you to you, unlike Mooji acting show, mine is genuine.

Ananas :"This thread was started with the question "is M a cult" and since it started many people came here and reported what they have experienced, seen and witnessed. So the question has long been answered and for those who are open for the painful truth ( at least for me it was very painful to realize the betrayal, lack of integrity and abuse from M) they can find enough "m

Bodhi, you are not well educated on how cults and in this case the M cult operates AT ALL, so I will not further discuss with you but give information for others. Many believe the Sex Tales of Swartz--and, a Protest? If you've followed this forum you know that it is to my dismay that word has come of many ex-Andrew Cohen followers who were apparently seeing James Swartz as a "better" teacher. Part of my response to this has been to share many posts on this message board showing the probably errors in this type of thinking. Another has bee

Someone I know, just a common man, built a koi pond in his backyard, filled it with koi. Next day, no koi. He was perplexed as to what happened to his koi. Filled it again, this time he saw the heron swoop in and eat the koi. So he put a net over his pond to protect the koi, the heron perched on edge eyeing those koi, he shooed it away and it just came back. The net distracted from the ambiance o

The Heron The sad story of the heron shot dead at Monte Sahaja has resonated with many people across the globe. There is such a huge contrast between the image Mooji wants to present to the world- that of an all-loving, kind, generous and wise man who can help people transcend their suffering - and the tragic reality that is now coming to light. To kill an innocent bird in flight - an inno

My friend did his own checking. He/she checked on the heron, and found out that Mooji had a heron shot. Why? For doing what a heron does. Found out that Mooji acted guilty about some of his sexual goings on as they were discovered. Guilty? Really? Not a good thing for a guru, as it shows he/she was knowingly doing "wrong." Discovered Mooji has been very harsh to some persons

From 38.00 to 58.00 there is an interesting > encounter between Moo and a astute middle-aged > woman. She is not buying what Moo is selling her- > far from it! I love this courageous woman who has been around M for some time. I remember her sharing some unsavory parts of her past and wanting the inner peace that M promises with the flimsy carrot 'just follow my pointings"

Great points Sahara71! Following the reasoning, if we have to let go of our identities, if the mind is the number one enemy for a spiritual speaker to the point that people in satsangs speak of themselves in the 3rd person to presumably make a point they are not the person, why then does the Master have at his side in public satsangs a picture of his father and mother? Is that not bringing the p

Another musing about the sacrificial mother heron: If Mooji was truly so at One with the Self of All, why couldn't he have directly communicated with this poor creature asking her to find her food elsewhere - instead of having her murdered, leaving her babies to probably perish? And wherever the smoking gun came from, how cowardly of Moo not to do it himself rather than ordering some b

Remember the dead heron shot at Monte Sahaja. Who had the firearm? We can do a parody of the song by the late great Bob Marley. I shot the heron.

Sad game- that is a testament to your integrity. In the end integrity is all we have. It’s our best friend in making choices because when we stay in it, we are safe. Feelings are alarm bells. Like when our house is on fire and we need to listen to them. Many at Sahaja have had to take all the batteries out of their fire alarms so the noise constantly going off won’t disturb them. 2cents t

Hi everyone! My name is Annette Chappelle, when Mooji knew me I had left my fiancé who is now my husband and “walked out of my life” to go spend time with Mooji. Luckily for me, my fiancé kept tabs on me and was the one who picked me up from San Francisco Airport when the saga came to a close and we are now happily married in a beautiful location doing very well. I don’t hate Mooji. I am wi

Gurus do all they can to drive away confident, skeptical people. Anyone who is disgusted and walks out, serves the guru's purpose, because the guru wants to be rid of such persons, they spoil the mood. PapajisaysNO recommended a YouTube video. Take time to read the comments - good stuff. One comment may describe the process by which many of us get entangled in spiders'

Been contemplating this M. drama and wondering if M's 'parabdha karma" has caught up with him at this point. In juxtaposition, can we say the persecution that Christ experienced could be called parabdha karma? Something says no - but who knows? I don't think Jesus went to the Sanhedrin for cease and desist papers!! (Parabdha Karma: a collection of past karmas, which

Final suggestion: Those of us concerned about safety issues at the Monte Sahaja/Shiva's Lap ashram could call ourselves the Dead Heron Society. Ah...and here is a very long essay. Optional reading. It offers descriptions of the context in which Advaita came about quoting material from several books.

Yes snapping-out It’s to make people feel chosen. You nailed it. I also have friends who donated. They have specifically said to me they would have noted “this is earmarked for more fish” had they known he’d kill a mother heron over fish. In fact he could have just asked for help for that reason and people would have donated. He also sent out a video via email of him looking at the pictures

Oh wow! That’s really too bad about Annette deleting her statement. I saw a few people from Sahaja we’re thinking of coming out in there own names as well with statements. I don’t think many people have the kind of vendetta Henri seems to. I don’t trust them if they do because then they are speaking from a space of rage and that is not balanced. Those that I know feel that they abdicated re

Yes JDCosta My understanding is the heron had been there before and they had managed to scare it off. I don’t know how they knew it was the same heron though. Maybe it was a different one. After they tried again. It was seen as a pest and killed. Mooji loves fish more than birds, apparently or he didn’t want to have to keep restocking the pond with fish. Although a millionaire several times ov

Horowitz Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The killing of a holy heron in Monte Sahaja > ashram is very bad thing.... I heart, that they have fish ponds in Monte Sahaja. Maybe it was a decision between fish and heron. But there must have been another solution for this.

Thanks for sharing the comment you found, Clearvision. I notice that the person wrote how Mooji ordered the heron "shot dead from the sky!" Do the Mooji Group have firearms there at the compound in Portugal? I believe the Osho group also amassed firearms while they were in the U.S. If the Mooji Cult have firearms, are they registered? Do they observe proper safety guidelin

The following comments were written in response to the recent Joan Tolifson article on Mooji (they were deleted later) The commenter was present for a lot of the things in Scoflields article that are dismissed as "gossip" or "rumor" “I saw him yell at his daughter in little Jamaica after she said she wanted to leave Sahaja. I know he had the heron killed. I was in the meeti

Non Dual author Joan Toalifson has written another article on Mooji: "My Reflections on Mooji" She's a fan of him, but is at least willing to say that she feels the allegations could be true. In the comments to her article, someone wrote this important statement: "The problem I have is that people have confided in me directly - and these people have a total of six an
