Regarding the Open Letter to Mooji More typos than I like, and certainly many more then usual, occurred in that Post. It was written late at night on a tablet with fading power, poor light, and... For me, the whole Mooji “thing” is a strange sound in the engine, a recurring discordant note in a favorite song. Mooji, please do “Be the Jnani” and address these issues in a real way. Even if yo

Regarding Mariana Caplan and Marc Gafni And Rick Archer and Ammaji. Apparently, over ten years ago Mariana Caplan came across a dynamic, attractive, intelligent, sexy "spiritual teacher" and had a child with this fellow. He turned out to be, in reality, a person that many hold to be an awful shit in almost every way. However, before she realized the extent of his dark side she wro

Quotefacet I know that Rick follows Amma already from watching previous bat gaps over the years. That's right, but I seem to remember Rick acknowledging the problems with Amma in a recent interview (and maybe more interviews, I haven't seen most of them). From a quick look at the google-searches Corboy posted, I get the impression that Mariana Caplan is compromised more seriously.

What this boils down to is that an anonymous person wants me and others to condemn James Swartz, but is not willing to come forth publicly, despite having support, and apparently enough proof to win a court case. If they're already on forums discussing these apparent past events and have put out a book on it all, then they are reliving it anyway. Why not bring the whole thing to light?

A CLEAN SLATE...??? Two posts or so ago Wombat, an apparent strong Mooji follower according to Corboy in his/ her following post, wrote, among other things: "It is not like Be Scofield had a clean slate before Culture or Cult came along..." Wombat then listed other articles to check out: The Misdeeds of Be Scofield, Cult Mania: Inside the Attack on Bentinho Massaro, The Absurd

Note: long before Be Scofield published the Medium articles, she had, years before, emerged as an articulate critic of the culture of abuse fostered by Ken Wilber, Andrew Cohen, a culture of cruelty enabled by many celebrities in the consciousness scene. This article is an important read. Anyone who believes in the culture of integral abuse will go from supporting one cruel guru (Andrew Cohe

Swartz's Teachings Examined, and more of the sad plight of some ex-Andrew Cohen followers From one of the first persons to hear Heather's claims, to think something like, "Oh, Shiva! Based on what I know of James Swartz, she could be telling the truth," and then to have Swartz's own responses to questions about her claims confirm, to her and to many others, his guilt,

Anyone remember the 1988 film, "A Fish Called Wanda"? Look it up. Otto West, a brute with pretensions to high culture, regards himself as Buddhist. He practices his Japanese sword exercises with Western classical music in the background -- and behaves outrageously. Wanda, the title character, reprimands Otto. In the midst of the verbal fireworks Wanda says something very impo

The comments following the Spiritual Rock Star article are interesting. Some allege that Massaro's parents are Dutch and are into human potential business. Did Massaro spend time hanging around with Mooji before start

As Wilber was a frequent guest of Andrew Cohen (see the many guru and pandit interviews in Coheh's now-defunct What is Enlightenment? magazine) Wilber could be considered tied to Andrew Cohen, though not Cohen's disciple in any formal sense. Corboy note: We need to follow this closely. Books by Wilber and missionary outreach by Phipps and others are attractive to many talented persons who are struggling to reconcile their upbringings in traditional closed societies and religions with scientific and technological coursework at university. This struggle causes much anguish and can make Wilberian material seem attractive - and lead t
