There is also this: Quote: "At the start of the meeting he announced, to my delight, ‘I am known as Tony Parsons and I am not enlightened’. The room filled with laughter, mine included. Tony had come up from Cornwall. He insisted, however that he was ‘not a person’ and ‘Tony Parsons did not exist’. Everything within the room was a magnificent, ‘hypnotic dream’, he claimed." I

Also, thanks to Corboy's suggestion, take a look at: If you scroll down to the second last paragraph, Tony Parsons is mentioned as a former member of cult leader Osho's commune. The author of this article suggests that Parsons "half disowns" Osho - I'd say that Parsons sits on the fence here due to economic necessity. If he disowns Osho then he risks excluding Osho

Hi Traveler, you might like to take a look at this website: The author refers to Tony Parson's teachings as "dangerously imbalanced" and from what I have seen of him, I tend to agree with this assessment. Tony Parsons appears to be just another neo-advaita salesman, in a long line of half-baked, self-deluding, egotistical individuals who seem intent on convincing people

Thanks Valma! That explains why M. Soham would delete negative comments from under his posts about Tony Moo. He would know about all the negative commentary that Moo receives.

Also kind of interesting that since Tony has more or less failed at becoming the next Messiah, he has now resorted to selling incense yet again! see: I guess he had to return to what he knows best....

Hi too many suicides, That's quite interesting... I took a look at Micheal Soham on social media - I've noticed he is friends with Shree's ex-husband and also with Khrishnabai, but other than that, he doesn't seem to have a lot of obvious cult members as contacts. He may actually be someone who is legitimately interested in spirituality and who very innocently believes

Hi FlatEarthRound, thanks for sharing this and thanks for going to so much trouble as to hire a P.I. You are a good human being. It sounds like you ex-teacher is a pathological narcissist - like so many people who become cult leaders. They don't care who they exploit and they deceive themselves into thinking that they are 'special' and that they have the right to take from ot

Our old pal Henri releases yet another Youtube offering where he specifically mentions Mooji: youtube.com/watch?v=yEHvnJLsmic I wonder if perhaps Henri might be technically contravening the terms of his legal contract here? Just a thought. (I'm not a lawyer!) Take a look at 12.45 in the video - Henri mentions Moo's lawyer At 15.28 - Mooji gets bit of a caning here. Good f

Thanks Constantin for your update. If you could tell us anything and everything that is now going on at Monte Sahaja, than that would be appreciated. It's sad that they are not testing for Covid 19 there at the Moo ashram, especially since they have had someone die form untreated respiratory illness there in the past. Mooji's legal team have not been successful in repressing all

A few of the regulars chime in on Amma Tanya White's latest statement, which is being shared widely on social media: There's this today from Rick Archer of The Association of Woo-Woo Integrity: "Yes, I interviewed him twice but took down the interviews because of a number of reports, including Amma Tanya White's. I have a more charitable opinion of Mooji than my friend

Thank you Too Many Suicides, Amma Tanya White is an exceptional woman. Though all the distress and confusion she has endured over the past two years, she has never once changed her account of what happened with Mooji at Monte Sahaja. For those who don't feel like reading her whole message, this part is the most telling- "...when I discovered that you were abusing your position

I found his interesting comment under one of Rob Juliano's Youtube videos about Moo: "This is a Bhakti kind of path. Bhakti requires an object of devotion, the leader serves that role. Different paths don't have this type of dynamic. Besides, he is allowed to enjoy being loved, as long as he's using his power wisely. And as far as I've seen, he has. Sex is fine. Having

Hi Heythere101, when you say "At that point you become extremely confused" - I think that is something to be very cautious about and very wary of - confusion. When I started listening to Moo, after a few weeks I stated to feel confused, too. Normally I am very logical and rational, so I didn't know why some seemingly harmless spiritual teachings would be making me confused.

Hi Stefa, I think you have made a good analysis of the problems associated with hypnosis and trance induction, cult dynamics, depression, anxiety and suicide. It is quite a convoluted issue and there needs to be more formal research into the dangers of cults in general. 1. The self inquiry technique - This was probably never intended to be taught to students who were not prepared emoti

"If I knew at the begining he is having affair with her, I woudn;t go for his satsang, and I wouldn;t treat him seriously, and I wouldn't go through hell." Thank you both Heythere101 and Gaja, It is good to read a very insightful description of what Monte Sahaja is like, Heythere101. If you can remember anything else, then I am sure people here would love to read it - for example the kind of things were said to you and others that were supposed to 'discipline' you? Also some details about the hygiene situation there?

Thanks Stefa, for your insights. I just wanted to explain that in a democracy, people do have rights and entitlements, and these are usually in proportion to the amount of responsibilities they have. If you attend an ashram or spiritual group, you might be asked to work ten hours a day, six days a week. (It's not my idea of a good time, but to each their own!) This is a big responsibil

Yes, RevoG, it would be difficult for any parent to see their child go off with some strange group they don't understand. If you can do anything at all to interest your friend in some new hobby or activity that she might like, then try that. On the surface at least, Moo does not give any directives about what people should or should not do in their free time. He has spoken about '

Also, RevoG, when you mention members of the local Moo group, you write: "there is a simpering, moon-eyed, almost infantile demeanour on devotees faces" And you say your friend is "childishly credulous, emotionally vulnerable" The simple, childish demeanor is a classic sign of someone who has been subject to cult indoctrination. These people tend no longer to see comp

Hi RevoG, I'm sorry to hear about your friend. It sounds like you are in a very difficult situation. I can't advise you what to do as a professional, but only as someone who almost fell in deep with a cult. Maybe try to find out what your friend was interested in before she joined the Moo group and then re-introduce her to that interest? I don't think cults are ever entirely

Further to my last post, I would like to provide some specific examples of how cult indoctrination operates within the Mooji group. Please bare in mind that these techniques are subtle.... it is entirely possible to watch Moo in action and take everything he says at face value and not feel that you are being slowly indoctrinated. If it were obvious, then I suggest that it wouldn't be as effe

Good general information about cult indoctrination and 'brain-washing' techniques by someone who has suffered at the hands more than one false guru: I've summarized the main points for those who prefer reading: 1. You feel uncomfortable, but you don't know why. What does this guru really want from me? Are they empowering me, or is the focus all on them? The words the

Hi Stefa and too many suicides, The video of the exorcism has been doing the rounds for a long time. It has been downloaded and shared in private messages and emails, prolifically. Initially the Mooji group tried to control the sharing of this video (and others) by citing copyright violation, which is apparently a tactic that many cults use in order to control information. One person posti
