If anyone here has Netflix, check out a show called "Disappeared" from the investigation discovery network (just do a netflix search, you'll find it). Anyway, there is an episode of the second season which contrasts some extremely eerie similarities to the ROC and how they operate things in terms of control with relationships, etc. It's actually not listed properly on Netflix,

Well, she's been with Geronimo since she was fourteen (yes it's true - do the math on their years of age separation and the years they've been married). Additionally, her family is all involved on different levels within the ROC, as well as some in CA. It'd be hard to leave really the only thing you've ever known. Also, and this is just a thought - I'm not saying

Additionally, does anyone have any information regarding this new website : It is definitely ROC affiliated, not sure about supported. There's actually some cool info on there. I will have to strongly disagree with their claim that they are as responsible as they as for the changes in these neighborhoods in Richmond. There are actually quite a few churches and organizations that do outre

I'm not sure about the food stamps deal - could be true, might not be. There's definitely a probability on either side. Technically speaking, many of those in the homes do not change their permanent addresses to reflect living in the discipleship homes. So if they are still head of a household somewhere else, it's very likely they could qualify. I don't know that I totally dis

I also think it's interesting that you choose not to identify yourself by name or by your contact information, such as an email. Just drives my point a little deeper I'd say, considering they'd add credibility to your argument. Just a thought.

Rooster - you sir (maybe ma'am, don't care) are full of it. Geronimo grew up just miles away from his father and the whole family knew. His testimony is fake as hell - this has come out of the mouths of members of his family. It's not slander to say someone's testimony is true, it's calling it like it is. I think testimonies are great because it speaks volumes about the p

Additionally at this point as well, there isn't much recourse that anyone can take through the courts in relation to anything on this site. Sadly, when you have money or people whom support you with money, you can insulate yourself from answering for quite a bit. But the fact that this continues to be the second result on google when searching for the ROC is good in my opinion. If we can tak

QuotehismercyWe have approx. 7+ yrs. of posts here and one thing I don't recall reading (but it might be in here) is that G & his possee (may be spelled wrong) were on staff at Victory Tabernacle Church of God on Genito Rd. in Chesterfield County when they first came to VA. They make it sound like they came here and opened the ROC the 1st week they were here. No, they were hired staff at

QuotenotperfectyetAW Stevens, Fixed on what?! lol......The 'BIGGEST' fix The ROC could have is to stop tryina squeeze money out the general public and do it themselves....I mean the 'elite' gettin' their hands dirty and doing what they started out doing themselves. Passing off and Pawning off on others what God 'ordained' them to do is sort of a slap in God

Sorry - edit to post - just Geronimo - I find that title insulting to other Pastors when referring to Geronimo as one. Credit where it's due.

No...we all can dream however. Pastor Geronimo threatened many people posting what he considered to be "false" information with legal action for defamation. So no, it hasn't been fixed, he's just taken a coward's way out - once again insulating himself from answering for his actions. Shame on him.

doublestandard - this is A CULT EDUCATION FORUM. The posts on here are to reflect the cult-like properties of this organization, as well as those of many others. I wouldn't say that people are encouraged to bash a particular pastor - I would say that if anything, many of these posts reflect the actions of those various leaders on the people that they are supposed to be spiritually responsibl

hismercy - Sexual assault is different than what has happened here. I have a very strong feeling that if a rape or assault occurred, there wouldn't be much of a purpose for this thread - Geronimo would have already been caught and charged formally. We can't file charges. I'm fairly certain most all of us know that by now, or it would've already happened. This is a discussion b

Geronimo took a break for a month. He is back in Richmond, not in Anaheim. The girl was not molested, she had sex with him. Doesn't make it right, but there's a big difference. If the family wanted him dead, and I know the father reasonably well, it would have already been done. You probably shouldn't make threats on the behalf of others. It really doesn't help anything.

Additionally, in the field of social work as an example - you can have no more than 5-6 children/indigents on your caseload at one time. How is it that the ROC was stacking 20+ onto each youth adviser? Sounds like an effort to show compliance so that billing could continue. As long as they could make it look like x amount of students were being helped, then they can get grant money to cover that

southerngalinchrist - Other churches and organizations in the city know the deal with the ROC. People are talking all over the place. There are not many groups/churches willing to associate themselves with the ROC in any capacity anymore. Also, there are many people throughout the city that know that a lot of the grant money for George Wythe was lied about in terms of where it actually went to. I

Also within the past year and a half, many in leadership positions (deacons, pastors, workers, etc.) have left. Although they all have various reasons, many of them were heavily influenced by the goings on of G and the people immediately around him. When you love the Lord as much as many of these people do, it is sad to think that something could be so against what they know to be right that it c

Pastor Allen is currently working on getting a new 501-c3 organization going as a church (don't know the ins and outs). Rod Jackson was made an assistant pastor, and left when he found out about Cassidy. He was at the meeting at Chill's house when G confessed to sleeping with her. He left and knows everything.

Mercy2all - Thanks for your post. There are some people on here who may hate Pastor G. Most of us don't hate HIM, we hate what he is DOING. Love the sinner, hate the sin. Love sometimes requires accountability for change, and that's what we want - change. Pastor G is also an adult. You don't judge an adult based on their intentions - you judge them based on results. Pastor G has

I think it's funny that people come on here and say this website does nothing yet people who post on here are being contacted by lawyers inquiring as to what they need to defend against. wiseserpents - although you've been banned from this board, i've no doubt this message will reach you because you are eager to defend the roc, so here you are: "God uses people." Godisjudge - I realize that some are able to look at things through different eyes, and I am happy for you that you are one of them. I would assume you probably never lived somewhere like the "discipleship ranch". The good experiences (or bad) you can have at the ROC are very relative to where you end up having to live and that's the truth. Second of all, from an accountability sta

The girl in question here most certainly did/does have a very flirtatious demeanor, and nothing can be said to argue that. Period. She DID make a point to throw herself in front of many, many, people, of which I personally was witness to on multiple occasions. Are the parents to blame? In part. Is she to blame? To a degree. I don't recall reading that a rape occurred; however, I would ask y
