I'm interested in anything you can tell me about this man and his "ministry". I have a friend in the Truther movement who's friend has joined this man's ministry and has become estranged from all his friends. I believe this Pastor uses brainwashing techniques on his converts. The friend in question apparently changed almost over night, which according to his friends and f

@corboy WoW That abstract of Dr. Stanley Rosenman's article is chilling. It's describes perfectly what I couldn't articulate. The words corrupt and impoverish really nail the look I saw after that last Destini viewing. PTSD is a disorder I would not wish upon any human being. I have spent a large part of my life dealing with and learning how to manage the aftermath of trauma my

@Sandman A few days back I had a most fearful thought after watching some recent Destini video's made by some of the longterm members. Many of whom I've been familiar with for quite some time. At first I could not put my finger on what was disturbing me. It just sounded like the same old rant and yet something pushed me to replay and look again. Then it hit me... there is a marked ch

I truly hope that happens Anticult and soon. There is such a sinister energy surrounding this Destini thing. I've been watching the members morph for awhile now and it's truly disturbing. I have not made attempts to dissuade anyone knowing how fast I will get booted off if I try. I hope for the day that Poolman slips up legally and gets the punishment he so deserves for using people s

Fortunately, Anticult I've gleaned enough information over the years of personal reading on various occult/new age philosophies and mainstream religious study to recognize a lot of the mishmash, mumbo jumbo references that get thrown around on Destini. I somehow managed to find myself here almost minutes after that viewing... I'm from the Betty school of irritation judging by her pos

Talk about mixing it up like a dog's breakfast..ugh It's brain numbing for me listening to the bizarre connections that Poolman and company dish out. This guy does throw everything in the pot. Listening to his video's is like trying to figure out what chunks are what in regurgitated stew. Is that a carrot..no wait it could be a yam... and watching the jammo music videos was tortu

@ForeverNoMatterWhat quote: YOU all certainly know how to toy with peoples caring natures. Pulling on peoples heart strings. Anyway, this wont mean much to anyone else but rest assured, I know exactly what it means- to all of "you." How insightful you all are, in how people perceive things at first glance...(people just don't have the time) Right Desteni? Hmm..interesti

Just read the Matti+Anna forum. What convoluted rubbish. .ugh... Reading Sunette and the "resonances" dissect each action of M+A"s uncomfortable sexual liason was disturbing. It appears that disclosure of ones process must be shown to all and sundry no matter what the content. How incredibly manipulative. Since both A+M are high profile group participants I can only surmise that

Stoic Quote: AK is nothing other than a natural muscle response to a particular position that the limb is placed in, there is no special magic involved. Why were you taught this? Do you think it was to impress the students that Desteni has some special knowledge? My thoughts exactly on the "specialness" aspect. I watched two of the videos Cresil posted. It was the presentation

@Cresil You... quote:Dare defend the demonized, and I become a demon? I was just asking a question based on your post...Cresil. Sometimes your posts get lost in translation to me. I'm not here to demonize anyone who may have been caught under the boot of Bernard Poolman/Destini. I've seen enough destinites painfully struggling through the labyrinth of SRA mindspeak on You

@Cresil I believe it was you who encouraged me a few posts back to research deeper into the Destini material. You used the word enthralled. I can't say I'm quite as captivated by Destini as it appears you are. I've been doing my homework Cresil not out of fascination for the subject but out of a desire to see Destini exposed for what I have come to see that it is. All the road

Is it getting hot in here? I'm just going to open a portal and let some air in...and now back to our regular program highlights. In last week's episode Poolman and L.Ron were battling it out for sci fi supremacy in the Enki versus Xenu world MESTFEST CONmanship. I'm working on the story board now.

Poolman the purveyor of rehashed sci fi, new age gaga and cheap parlour tricks still reminds me of a preacher admonishing his wayward flock with guilt and fear. Them's that ain't with him are against him. I don't know who's more confused at this point the preacher or his congregation. Is it too soon to hope this house of cards is falling...

I got HYPOTIZED by the Para-Human Chimera known as BerNard PoolMan. I now crave peanuts, basking in the solar flares, flicking my tongue and flying through portals of time to meet up with Bozo the Clown, Le Petomane and my dead Parakeet Nipper...I also enjoy wearing Stazi uniforms while micro chipping vegans who consume oil based products without self honesty. Thank you Destini ;)

@Sandman... never too late to take the carnival on the circuit...Step up and see the show!! Portal girl channels the bull horned elephant legged bearded reptile beast from the swamp. No money refunded if implosion occurs. Oh and they serve tossed brain salad at the Destini concession...without the oil. :_0

@Anticult I absolutely agree!! I was watching the bullshido link at the time at just the point where the amazing Randi was exposing a fake...It may have influenced me a titch. Perhaps my attempt at humour got lost along the way in regards to Poolmans less than stellar presentation/performance skills. I'm grateful for the education...truly.

@ Sandman!!! Quote: What they need is at least one book available in most new age bookstores, an oddly charismatic or hypnotic speaker who goes on lecture tours, centers of activity established in major cities and a philosophy that taps into the zeitgeist, no matter how crap it is. @ Holly Hom You appear to be an intelligent, articulate and accomplished person. I can't seem to resolve how a person of your gifts cannot recognize when you are being deceived. Your Swami (who I realize you will defend endlessly) was there at the critical moment of your spiritual crisis/search and got that crucial foothold. That saddens me. @Swami G I can't help but wonder how you c

Has anyone noticed Poolmans tone in his newer video's? Is he finally managing to temper that hyper maniacal raving. The last few posts had a softer tone which made me wonder if these new forays into foundations and parties forced him into changing tactics to appeal to the softer new age crowd he's campaigning for. The one on vegetarianism was so passive compared to last months that his

@Stoic Well said in regards to make sense/is sense statement!! The "normal" world is all about enduring for me. In fact, it's more like the abnormal world but I'm stating the obvious. I myself consider a true healing a gift that I haven't received yet. I'm more about managing my residual trauma one day at a time. It gets easier when I don't fall into resentmen

@ Sandman...my sentiments exactly about Anonymous. I do believe I saw a few posts on some anti Destini channels that said the exact same thing. Destini may have adopted some Scientology like teaching strategies but I'm guessing they don't have the money for the fair game litigations that Scientology employs against it's detractors. An Anonymous like group would certainly give them

@ Stoic...I can totally relate to your statement. In such a materialistic world it's hard to find respite for ones soul that isn't mired in divisionary beliefs systems that induce guilt, shame and a myriad of other negative emotions. They all seem to be preaching something that robs rather than feeds the spirit. For most of my life my mind was so polluted by the messages that I was

@stoic Dreaming is a free exercise. Dream merchants are highly suspect to me. You put a price tag on spiritual enlightenment and things can go south pretty quick. I spent years recovering from spiritual abuse and the loss of dreams though I never paid a nickel. I was born into it. I can't imagine the turmoil I would have experience if I had paid for the loss of my dreams in cash and not j
