Such an incredibly sad story. Quote"It's really so shocking but it really can happen to anybody," Lanis told The News on Sunday night. "Right-wing extremism is not funny, and people need to watch their relatives and if they have guns, they need to hide them or report them or something because this is out of control."

A family member of Colleen Santoro/Kaia Ra has added testimony QuoteRichard Santoro I wish the followers of Colleen Santoro, who renamed herself Kaia Ra, would at least ask her for answers to the gaping holes in her testimony as a victim. After all, she uses this testimony to supposedly justify her divine authority to lead people to higher levels of spiritual consciousness. First, she c

Family Denies Sedona Guru Kaia Ra’s Bizarre QAnon-like Claims Quote“I know all this satanic cabal stuff isn’t true,” Kaia’s sister told me. She grew up in the same house with Kaia for 15 years. “I wanted to be on her side,” she said. “But when we tried to get to the truth she didn’t want to.” That’s when Kaia cut her off, which is 14 years ago now. I've not yet found any public support forum for former members, maybe there are private ones ongoing. I hope everyone is getting the help they need. The cult still exists. QuoteI wonder if anything was ever set up to support children / young people in coming out once it all got shut down? As far as I know, there was no support available to young survivors, other than what maybe they could find on their own. Unfortunately the cult continues on. Sheela is definitely responsible for helping create an unhealthy, abusive environment. A quote from someone who was raised amid sannyasins, I was acquainted with her family and their friends: QuoteBepler said she found the Rajneesh scene "creepy." "There were lots of open sexual experiences and lots of chaos," she said. "Boundaries were crossed."

I knew several sannyasins and was briefly one myself. Sheela harmed so many people. Ideally her audience would stop participating in this charismatic dance with her. She isn't funny or charming. She is an aging sociopath still trying to play games. Two areas I hope can get more in-depth study concerning Rajneesh is how the children were treated at Rajneeshpuram, also if there is

I've been following Kaia Ra's progress for about 3 years now. Underneath the flowery language and new age presentation she seems very controlling. I hadn't known anything about Max Spiers, his story is valuable to learn. Kaia Ra has upgraded her brand quite a bit. She used to do the New Age, Burning Man, modern hippy look. Now she appears sophisticated, wealthy, expensive in white and gold. Her "mystery school", workshops, events, private sessions are all expensive and in most cases her followers have to take them in a

Yes, Kaia Ra is definitely influenced by Mark and Elizabeth Prophet, and Guy and Edna Ballard. She also has said that she was inspired to move from California by reading a book by Amorah Quan Yin, yet another channeler. Kaia Ra in earlier writings said that her earliest enlightenment type experience happened in a New Age bookstore. Another influence is Maria Yraceburu, who fraudulently cla

Actually I will just summarize the rest. Kaia Ra always uses lots of verbiage. Her writing is over stuffed, confusing, nonsensical at times, and probably somewhat hypnotic to her devotees. Kaia Ra always is in some sort of drama. Pain, suffering, unseen enemies and dark forces. A never ending struggle that only she can help her followers out of (maybe) and only with regular tuition payment

I'll copy and paste in here a series of posts containing Kaia Ra's announcement that she is writing a book detailing her satanic panic claims. I think this is a very valuable example of how she writes, about how she makes claims but insists that no one question her on the claims. This is from her Facebook page in early October. Hi facet! Kaia Ra has never spoken of reporting her claims to the authorities. Her claims have nothing reality based. Nothing about talking with police and FBI. No talk of working with a legitimate anti-human trafficking organization. I believe that her claims are attention grabbing ploys to draw followers and money. I continue to have a lot of concerns about Kaia Ra. Including her rude use of cultural appropriation - she mixes and matches various cultural traditions until they are unrecognizable. Her use of "White Buffalo Woman" is appalling, especially since this is all for profit. Also for anyone who actually is the survivor of abuse - she is the last person to go to. Kaia Ra's own claims
