Seems to be myth, but mentioned in many conspiracy theories.

In my years of experience, it seemed to have "blossomed" the idea that the Illuminati was part of the mason's adjunct geometric knowledge that is based on sacred geometry, as discussed minority in "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" (last line of the Minrovian kings). It is 'believed' that the Illuminati some how have books hidden in Rome in the archives of the Catholic church. Good luck figuring this one out!
