A good test of your “position thinking”. Remember: “Insecurity is the Satan of the Kingdom”

Rayen looks like the perfect facility to house the JRS Occult Library and Chicken Coup Museum.

Yes, it's always the people who notice the rampant position thinking who are accused of having position thinking.

CA, you noticed that you had been given a plastic cup, therefore you are a position thinker. What!?!?

This reminded me of a cult a former friend went to he left one in Lake City FL moved to Marshall TEXAS. The minister there was looney I suspect who cultivated christian swinging. As told to me by Robert the "pastor" would tell couples you switch spouses and live together, as God has ordained this. Also he switched children moved them to other families. That was enough for Robert D. he lasted less than 2 years took a beating on selling his property and moved back to Lake City FL.

Hello all,

I have a question in regards to some of the practices around baptism and the church in the late 70's early 80's. What did that ceremony look and feel like? I was told I was baptized and blessed by JRS himself and that I was given an impartation of the spirit from birth. Thanks, just curious!

Great question. I honestly do not remmember hardly any babptisms past 1969 where I was.
but I think my son's baptism in late '70's was at Anaheim. It think Anahiem had a baptism tank behind the platform, like Baptist chruches do. ( Anaheim church was a former demonination building purchased)but...

i should remember and my son is vague as well. I well remember my children's new born dedications. ( We named out own children BTW while otehrs let JRS name theri babies) My chidlren's Babptisms should have been a very big deal like it had been in the 50's and 60's pre-walk at Christian Tabernacle in Iowa. It is odd that it was not a momentous occasion like at other churches.
Maybe I missed all the Baptisms in the 70's and 80's.
I kind of think the experince was not a priority any more unless JRS blessed everything. So much for Jesus Christ being left out of the religous ritual that is so valued in denomination.
I'd love to hear what others have to say.
