I certainly don't miss all this "Oneness." Frankly, at least for me, it was exhausting trying to be "One" with people who constantly demanded to be revered and served. I will be celebrating, yet again, my independence from that. Like puddington, I'm enjoying life...well, much more than I did when I was part of that organization. The scars I will carry with me, but the liberty of making my own decisions and taking responsibility for how I lead my life...separatede from guilt-trips and the relentless pressure to conform, is very refreshing.
It shall continue.

Celebration of Oneness through the Holy Spirit
By Silas Esteves March 2nd, 2017

Yesterday, following the conclusion of the School of Prophets, Gary Hargrave and Silas Esteves traveled to Rio de Janeiro to participate in the Rio de Água Viva (River of Living Waters) retreat at the SulAmérica Convention Center. Personally greeted at the parking entrance, Hargrave and Esteves were treated like VIPs as they were led inside and given backstage passes to the event.

. . . this 50th anniversary celebration of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Catholic church was palpable as row after row of seats held the 7,500 attendees. With a 10-foot high stage and two big screens . . . with the 1,100 confessions and 1,200 conversions.

Arriving in the VIP waiting area, Hargrave and Esteves were greeted by Father Antonio José, whom along with Cardinal Dom Orani João Tempesta, invited them to speak at the event and participate in a special Mass that closed the weekend of celebration.

As time passed connecting with several priests, seminary students, and other evangelical pastors; soon it was time for Hargrave to speak. Throughout his ten-minute message about oneness in the Body of Christ and the special placing of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in affecting all of Christianity, the crowd continually cried out cheers of approval to what Hargrave was saying. At the close of the message, Father Antonio José used Hargrave and Esteves as a beautiful example of evangelicals that continually pray for Pope Francis, saying that many in the Catholic church need to follow their example and continually pray for the pope.

Hargrave and Esteves were interviewed for Catholic radio and television, reaching out to over ten million believers in all of Brazil and the world, before being escorted to hold a private audience with Cardinal Dom Orani. As the three connected their hearts and drive to see oneness in the Body of Christ through the Holy Spirit, one could see that these three men of God were also dear friends.

Today’s event was a sign of the true oneness that is being realized in the Body of Christ. Blending Hargrave’s and Cardinal Dom Orani’s messages in each of our hearts, it is evident that the Kingdom of God is being established on the earth.

The previous post is unusual in the sense that it was written by Silas, who described the event in the third person like a reporter, along with the expected embellishments of just how 'Hargrave & Esteves' were almost worshiped in place of God.  The irony of the event is that the worshipping crowd were ignorant of the fact that both 'Hargrave & Esteves' were that last people you want establishing 'oneness', with the track record of destruction that both have on their resumes.

This is the kind of adulation the G-man always lusted for in the states but was never able to attain.  Long gone also are the JRS days when the Catholic church embodied the harlot at her worst.  You know things have come full circle when 'Hargrave & Esteves' are now hopping into bed with her.

Note: I've never experienced "cheers of approval" from anything I said in church, except once when I prophesied the service would be over soon.

C H A N G E D

If we were indulgent in anything it was having l o n g services. (The standard Catholic mass I grew up with was 50 mins.--just enough time to empty and refill the pews--on the hour.) If we were to have borrowed anything from that camp it would have improved our time management.

There really is something in whipping the crowd into a frenzy (I mine worship) by singing the same stanza of the same song 6-8 times. It has a hypnotic effect as it numbs the mind (I mine prepare for the 'weird') into accepting whatever was to come next.

Need I say 'guilt trip'?

Thankful for being freed from the oppressive environment we were once immersed in...wresting our lives away from the control of false shepherds:

I'm certain I repressed that memory (until now) due to the sheer basis of its cruelty and ludicrousness, but it is what caused me to finally leave. I remember M kept telling us to 'get rid of our self-condemnation' and, not surprisingly it was the first thing that left when I left!

That witch would come to Anaheim and beat the sheep, when she wasn't blatantly flirting from the podium with Gary and others.

And at South Gate at a long service where we were all expected to stand the entire length of a real 'rager', (remember those drawn-out all-niters)? I was 6 months pregnant at the time, so from time to time I would lean on a seat armrest, until Gary looked over at me and shot a scornful glance with an "I've lost patience with you" sigh over at me. Some sick, sick puppies there, including those of us who swallowed this stuff, under the guise of 'submission'.

I'm glad I left when I did, I'm thankful to have found this site, but moreover so thankful for a loving Savior who never rejected me and caused me to live once again.

Ah yes. Control, more control & then condemnation. What wonderful memories of the Walk! For reasons I now understand much more clearly, thanks to the bravado of you who are posting and the creation of this forum, I can see why it was always more like dogs contending for meat scraps than an actual Godly endeavour. Except, that is, for the true sheep. We all were beaten up in counseling, from the pilpit, collectively on tapes & individually in horrible ways. Then, to hear of this stuff! I, as a Former Navy submariner, have to apologize to each & every victim of this s*** ! First off, for not putting the freedoms of our country ahead of the cult dictates & secondly, for not having enough perception to see it, and lastly, for not, sticking around to confront my shepherd who surrounded himself with yapping-dog yes men. I will so pray about your stories and for your healings. As for names, unless asked, I will give it to the Father in my corner of this forum. You all do what you have to for healing and closure. Bless each & everyone of us. I don't believe in platitudes, so when I say things like this, I truly mean it. Love you all & bless you all.

I can only speak for my own posts. I do make an honest effort to direct my condemnation to the very top, which isn't always easy. I see JRS and G&M as the root of the problem, responsible for all of the "bad eggs" and "sheep beaters" they have tried so hard to distance themselves from. They wrote the rules in this made up universe of theirs where Shiloh is the center and they're the godhead. They created the environment where this type of abuse could proliferate. To pretend otherwise is fraudulent on their part.

With the congregations being over 50 for the most part, or perhaps 60, it pains me to think that they will live the rest of their lives in that crucible, enduring all manner of pain, mind control, always striving for something that does not exist in reality.

I am very sad that so many will die never seeing the "promises" fulfilled but will... G has it all set up so that it will be a noble thing to "die in the way". He can't lose with his formula.

He is heartless and cruel to be taking them all around and around the mountain. How many of the words since M's death are nearly identical--always the same themes. Say something sexy then pummel them all with condemnation.

I have incurred a great loss myself. But I do look forward to the life outside LW. I no longer look over my shoulder in fear. I wish all of my brothers and sisters could walk away with the the rest of their lives free for the taking. To actually make a life out of the time they have left. That is what I must do.

I wonder if Gary Hargrave is telling people that COVID-19 is a hoax?

Either that or he's selling lots of MFC products. Or both.

Isn't the love of money the root of all righteousness? It's been a while since I've read the Bible, so I'm not sure ;)
