These alarming revelations regarding JRS (if true) explain all the intercession for the 'battle' he was under, which was simply the GUILT he was suppressing which would rise to the surface and confront him when he was 'in the closet'.

A lot of prayer was wasted effort and energy by the brethren when JRS should have been doing his own homework. Instead, he wanted us to shoulder the responsibility for his misdeeds and deflect it onto 'satan'.

One could infer that his cancer was the unresolved guilt that slowly ate him a w a y . . .
