Landmark shut down in Switzerland

So, apparently Landmark shut down in [b:4c99144ec2]Switzerland[/b:4c99144ec2], like France and Sweden.

Anyone know more information about what spurred this on?

Are these the only three countries they have pulled out of so far?

I know it also had something to do with bad publicity, just not sure of the specifics.

I found this from the wikipedia page (I know, they can't be trusted, but it was readily available), "Landmark Education and the law" :

Quote

According to a 1999 letter written by Art Schreiber, the Swiss magazine FACTS referred to Landmark Education as a "cult". The magazine later retracted this statement after Landmark Education took legal action.

And the info referred to in that quote from the wikipedia article is taken from:

This happened in 1998 and 1999 though, so I would doubt that it had bearing on [b:4a6f6c9d85]Landmark shutting down[/b:4a6f6c9d85] in Switzerland years later, would it?

And this older version of their own website, though not that much older, has [b:4a6f6c9d85]France, Sweden and Switzerland[/b:4a6f6c9d85] available on the dropdown menu under "Located in country"..... hrm.....
