Dear HamrickCE,
I read your story, but I honestly must tell you, I am
worried for you.
You say you are able to predict events before they
happen.
Acts 16:16
"It happened that as we were going to the place
of prayer, a slave-girl having a spirit of divination met
us, who was bringing her masters much profit by
fortune-telling. "
This may not be God's gift.
If not, then whoever gave this to you may have
a motive to deceive you and others.
Do all your predictions come true?
NASU
Deut 13:1-5
If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among
you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the
sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which
he spoke to you, saying,' Let us go after other
gods (whom you have not known) and let us serve
them,' you shall not listen to the words of that
prophet or that dreamer of dreams; for the LORD
your God is testing you to find out if you love the
LORD your God with all your heart and with all your
soul. You shall follow the LORD your God and fear
Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen
to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him."
So many people who desire to worship God fall into
a trap. They worship God's Son, who is the
beginning of creation by God. (Colosians 1:15-16)
And forget it was Jesus' Father, his GOD, who also
raised him from the dead.
(Deut 18:21-22)
"When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD,
if the thing does not come about or come true, that is
the thing which 'Yahweh' has not spoken. The prophet
has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be
afraid of him."
Yahweh is the Hebrew name of GOD. He is the same
God Jesus spoke of when he said the following
statement:
(John 20:17)
'I ascend to My Father and your Father, and
My God and your God.'"
,
Rev 3:12
12'He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in
the temple of My God, and he will not go out from
it anymore; and I will write upon him the name of
My God, and the name of the city of My God, the
new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven
from My God, and My new name."
It is a fine thing that you trust in Christ Jesus' words.
If we cling to every word he spoke, which his father
and his God gave to him to give to us, then I
can fairly say 'you will do well.'
But, if one doesn't make sure of what we are
taught by men, then we can be mislead.
Like the Bereans, who were spoken of as being
more noble minded because they compared what
was being spoken by men, to God's word, the Bible.
I was born and raised in a denominational Ecclessia,
but until I searched God's word and compared doctrine,
I quickly found I was not being taught correctly.
Now I eat the bread and drink the wine, just as
Jesus (Yahshua) instructed. Some have said this
was only given to the disciples of Christ. But when
I read all of Jesus' instructions, I could see this is
for all who want to obey GOD. (Matt 28:19)
Just be very careful and know I care very much for
you.
