The big differences between Thieme's teachings and others is two-fold: 1) Thieme gave it a new term, "rebound", which may be confusing (Wall covers this in his thesis) and 2) Thieme taught that only confession was needed to "be" spiritual whereas other theologians teach about a yielded walk in life, etc. The second of these is an important theological difference, but it doesn't make "Rebound" itself some evil teaching.
Truthtesty:
It is more than two-fold. Thieme's false teachings on "rebound" are evil, because Thieme denies the efficacy of the literal blood of Christ.
Read and take seriously Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer Systematic Theology Blood [Vol. 7, Page 52-55] ( 3 sections - Sacrificial blood, Cleansing blood, and Covenant blood) Chafer (summarizing) says in 1 part that arrogant men have no authority elevate themselves to judge the very blood priniciple which God already judged, executed, and revealed to men to deal with sin.
It is my conclusion that the main reason Thiemites do not successfully purge themselves of sin, is because they are in disagreement with God on the efficacy of the literal blood of Christ. They are "confessing" and at the same time sinning, because they are denying the literal blood of Christ. The literal blood of Christ which defeated sin. This sin continously grows and grows until Thiemites "pervert inwardly", while trying to pretend to show no evil or "problems" in public (as they have been trained). They are trying to "live out" [u:aefbf7c49c]exactly[/u:aefbf7c49c] as Thieme has dogmatically told them to do. Thieme is responsible for thier misguided behaviour. The individual is also responsible for thier own misguided behaviour. They know it's wrong, but they can't admit it, they can't defeat it, and they can't put thier finger on exactly what's wrong.
Don't trust me, try it. Test it. Confess in agreement with God about the efficacy of the literal blood of Christ.
Chafer speaks of this “denying the power of" as lending aid to Satan [Vol. 2, Page 105]

Catholics do not need a priest to [u:aefbf7c49c]confess through to God[/u:aefbf7c49c].
Thiemites do not need a "Gentile authority" "lording over" pastor to [u:aefbf7c49c]study through to God[/u:aefbf7c49c].
