The Scientology cult was seen recruiting and harassing people recently with their "Stress Tests" in the NYC subway:

- 42nd & Lex 4,5,6 station, in the tunnel leading to the Shuttle

- 34th & 6th B, D, F, V station, on the ramp leading to the northern exit to the station on 35th

- 42nd & Times Square station, in the area one has to walk past when transferring from the Shuttle, N & R trains to the 1, 2, 3, 9 trains.

They are now wearing bright red jackets with "Dianetics" written in yellow on the back.

The Falun Gong cult has also been out in force again. They are toning it down, now using older women to force literature on people as they come out of the subways.

- They were outside the 7 station on 42nd and 5th near the Public Library.

- Also on 42nd & Grand Central, between Park and Vanderbilt, across from the Lincoln Building

...these groups intensify their recruiting efforts after the turn of the new year, when they figure many people are trying to make changes in their lives and live up to resolutions, etc., and are thus more suggestable and vulnerable.
