DVD-880 (Spoken in English, with 21 subtitles)
Fall into the Safety of God
International Gathering in France, August 21, 23 and 26, 2008
SUMMARY:
What are the different types of breatharians? What can we do to
become a true breatharian? Supreme Master Ching Hai explains
the source of our true and lasting healing power. She says that true
healing power comes from inner compassion and purity and
heals without healing. Through the story of an Indian saint and
a beautiful poem by Rumi, Master reminds us that as long as we
surrender to the divine power within, we can walk the path of God no matter where we are.
On the last record, we have the proof that the disclamer was not published yet in Oct. 2009.Quote

Hi Ocean_Of_Lies,
Most likely these ching hai site shutdowns are not just coincidences as culteducation.com reveals ever more details of this cult. At least one of their sites www.godsdirectcontact.org/ has recently slapped on a disclaimer thus, "Disclaimer:Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association (SMCHIA) does not request or accept any donations. If you have seen an online donation request or have been approached for an online donation please be advised that these persons do not represent SMCHIA".
As AntiCult said, and especially because SMCHIA webmasters disabled the recording on all the websites of the sect, from now we should make regular copies by ourself. It's not a difficult task. Not so heavy either, with ADSL connexion : If you filter the */news/* folder and the */pub/* folder (which I downloaded already : 3,15 GB of PDF files), then godsdirectcontact.org is only 245MB of datas to be saved. You can even reduce it to only 55MB by filtering some huge files like .mp3, .swf, .rm, .zip after you have downloaded them once. Anyway, nowadays 245MB is not a big deal for most recent hard drives...Quote
Internet Archive's Wayback Machine
http:/ /www. godsdirectcontact .org has been crawled 496 times going all the way back to novembre 28, 1999.
A crawl can be a duplicate of the last one. It happens about 25% of the time across 420,000,000 websites.

VegNews, a mainstream vegan publication, has always had a somewhat rocky relationship with vegans. They've been criticized in the past for commending Whole Foods and dubiously speculating against Supreme Master. Well, vegans are now downright outraged to discover that they were being decieved by the publication.
QuarryGirl, a blog that's become infamous for uncovering vegans scandals, reported on April 13th that many of the images in the pages of VegNews are not vegan. That's right, VegNews has been called out on using images of non-vegan foods from iStockphoto.com and pawning them off as photos of vegan food.

While it may not seem like that big of a deal, it sure has caused quite a stir in the vegan community. Within hours of the QuarryGirl post, angry vegans came out of the the woodwork to express their concern on the VegNews website. A few hundred comments into it, VegNews released an official response.
Though, their response has done little to douse the fire. A review of the comments seems to reveal that vegans are just feeling generally betrayed by the situation. Has VegNews committed a moral wrong? Is there a problem with using photos of non-vegan food and pretending they're vegan? What are your thoughts?By Ed Coffin

one last thing. apparently, loving hut is affiliated with the “supreme master”, and i’m not even sure exactly what that means, but it has stirred up quite the conversation. they did have supreme master television playing in the restaurant, which is basically a non-stop stream of cheezily produced pro-vegan programming. while some people accuse the organization of being “cultish”, it seemed harmless enough to me, and loving hut served up damn good vegan food, so i don’t really care about any of that other noise.

It is also one of the many reasons why, next month, Huntbatch will be presented with the Shining World Compassion Award, an international honour that has previously been awarded to celebrities such as Jane Goodall, the world's leading authority on chimpanzees, Melinda and Bill Gates, who were given a leadership award, and organizations such as Save the Children.
The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association also has sent a donation of $20,000, a muchneeded boost for the cashstrapped Parrot Refuge, where food and staff costs amount to $400,000 a year.
"It is wonderful. We were at our lowest ebb," Huntbatch said.
The leadership and compassion awards are headed by the Vietnamese-born Supreme Master Ching Hai and are given to those "whose exemplary works have significantly contributed to the harmony, beauty and sustainability on our Earth."

Mohegan Sun helped defray the cost of burials of some of those killed in last month's crash of a tour bus traveling from the casino to New York's Chinatown.
Jeffrey Hartmann, Mohegan Sun's president and chief executive officer, said he and Ernie Wu, the casino's vice president of international marketing, traveled to Chinatown in late March to meet with community leaders and to express their condolences. The New York Celestial Love Foundation, a nonprofit burial society, asked for help, which the casino provided, Hartmann said.
Joe Lam, founder and president of L3 Advertising, which represents Mohegan Sun in the Chinese community, said the casino's $35,000 donation was "the right thing to do."
"We know top leadership at Mohegan Sun was very, very concerned," said Lam, who helped arrange the Chinatown meeting. "They wanted to do something to help alleviate the pain. They did it without fanfare."
Fifteen passengers on the bus, most of them Chinese immigrants, died in the early-morning crash March 12. They were returning home when the bus went off Interstate 95 in the Bronx, tipped onto its side and slammed into a signpost that nearly sheered off its roof.
The National Transportation Safety Board, which investigated, said last week the bus was traveling as fast as it could go - 78 mph - less than a minute before the crash.

OSHAKATI – The Supreme Master Ching Hai church relief team last week donated food worth N$52 000 to the Oshana Emergency Coordinating Committee for flood victims in northern Namibia.
Supreme Master Ching Hai is a world-renowned church that provides assistance to countries facing disasters.
According the Oshana Regional Governor Clemens Kashuupulwa, who received the donation, the foodstuff, containing undisclosed quantities of maize meal, bread flour, sugar, and water purification tablets, would be distributed to the needy in relocation camps in the region as soon as possible.
“There is still a dire need for any donations, especially now that we have to take care of families whose houses and crops have been destroyed by the floods. The floods have subsided but thousands of people still need support and your donation is most welcome,” he said.
Handing over the donation to Kashuupulwa, a representative of the church, Gerhardt Vosloo, said the donation was a response to the Government’s appeal to various stakeholders to help mitigate the suffering wrought by widespread flooding.
He said the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association was not indifferent to victims of severe flooding that hit Namibia this year.
“When Master learnt of the tragedy, she immediately instructed fellow initiates in South Africa to provide assistance to the most severely affected. With oneness of mind, we cooperated to raise funds, which we used to buy the relief food,” he explained.
This year, Namibia faces the worst floods in decades, which have affected thousands of households and businesses and displaced scores in the north and east of the country, prompting President Hifikepunye Pohamba to declare a State of Emergency.
