I am sharing a story that originates from the Greater Grace
World Outreach(featured on this website), a group that I was in for a few years.

I am hoping to start a webpage with pictures telling this
story:

I came to Christ in 1992. During this time in high school in
California I met a young lady/girlfriend named Jessica.

After high school Jessica moved to Miami and I Steve moved
to Baltimore eventually where I joined up with GGWO.

We came to have something tremendously amazing in common:

We both had a friend named Dan. And they both looked the same! Like
twins!! I can prove that God planned this out before we were born with
the Dan family histories and biographies.

People say this would make for a wonderful family annexation
should Jessica and I get married.

But while in GGWO I made an attempt to share this story
with another ministry. The Pastor did not like that.
Ever since then (1997) I have not been able to put the two Dans
(one from Miami and the other from Baltimore) together.



I am convinced that this is another tale of control that exists in this
group. My friend Dan WILL NOT meet with Dan. So I am trying
to get this into the NEWS to expose the whole scene. Any help appreciated from someone interested.

Carl Stevens is seen as something more like a "con man" and has been called a "cult leader."

Most Christians don't take him seriously, other than because of the many people he has hurt.

Whatever self-serving "vision" Stevens claims is of little interest, other than his use of such things for his own selfish purposes. That is, to feed his ego and/or manipulate others.

It's doubtful that anyone here would be interested in your "Double Dan" story.

People come here to discuss cults, controversial groups and movements, not claimed visions.

If you left the Stevens group, good for you, given the groups sordid history.

One woman sued Stevens and his church for brainwashing her back in the 1980s. She won and collected as damages the "Bible Speaks" property Stevens had before relocating in Baltimore.

The group has a really horrible history.

and telling this story woven deep into the world of the Bible Speaks.

The double Dan story is really just a story about a long-distance relationship between a young man and a young woman, who once upon a time each had a friend named Dan who are lookalikes of each other.

What's the big deal about that? It's a scene that says something.

Now both the young man and the young woman are a bit confused
because of GGWO and the young man is desperately trying to
tell it the way it is/was via the internet. One of the reasons of course
to bring the couple back together again.

Fine.

But the "double Dan" story is of little interest to the members here.
