What are your experiences with life coaches or the life coaching industry?

I have been fascinated with the subject for many years, and I have been especially interested in the cult of personality surrounding "Ultimate" coach Steve Hardison.

I'm not sure if it's a cult or a pyramid scheme or neither, but it's so WEIRD to see all of the coaches entangled with him constantly promoting one another (and Byron Katie), but eventually all leading up to HIM.

Interestingly, most of the info you can find about him written by others include a lot of references to him physically hitting or "choking" them, etc. while they are in sessions, but then talking about how loving and caring he is.
