Re: www.the144000.org Gary Smith, audio software reverse engineering

Some people might be wondering how to take the public free mp3's of "Gary Smith", which seem to have been slowed down a bit with software, and try to reverse engineer them and play them at a normal speed.
Its not hard with digital technology, and its free.

Step 1: Download and save the public free mp3's from the source website.
[forum.culteducation.com]
They are encoded as flash audio on one website, but the source website has the mp3 files freely available for free public downloading, at the link above.
Might be a good idea to do that immediately, as they will probably be disappeared soon.

Step 2: Get the free open source audio software Audacity. [audacity.sourceforge.net]

Take the mp3 file and drag it into Audacity. (Or File/Import audio)
Then click or hi-light the audio file waveform.
Then apply the Effect from the tab. (Change Speed, Pitch, or Tempo). Its tricky to try to find the original, but it SOUNDS like the Tempo was slowed a bit, as well as the pitch.
(these settings can do chipmunk voices, or anything else).
Experiment with increasing the speed or pitch a little bit, to try and find the natural voice.

Its a good software to have on hand, for work in this area, as they are using digital audio technology to disguise their voices and various tricks.
For example, the tempo can be changed, without changing the pitch.

Audacity can also be used to record any audio running on the computer.

Sadly, there are thousands of others doing the same thing.
They want to make money using their phone and voice. They target people who are sick, charge in advance, and use all sorts of persuasion tricks and hypnosis tricks, to keep them coming back.
They often charge more than $150 a hour, or far more.
Some make a legal financial CONTRACT for 10 sessions, for example.

If they are making medical claims of healing, like claiming to cure cancer or things like that, they could be reported.
Depending on the state, if they are doing "therapy" that might be illegal too.

But if they are claiming medical healing, they can get into serious trouble, if there are complaints by people who are getting scammed and injured.

One should always check into the legalities of recording those healing sessions. After all, if a legit psychologist was doing phone counseling, like in-person counseling, they don't mind if you record it.

So telephone miracle cancer healing, if it was recorded, and they were making illegal health claims of instant cancer cures, they could be in big trouble. It would also expose any tactics of manipulation being used on the victim.

Of course, one must always consult experts in local regulations for these sorts of things.

OK - not to beat a dead horse, but Gary Smith [garydouglassmith.com] does the same thing that the Merkaba healers do. Look under FAQ and read.

Merkaba healers claim to be able to heal people right over the phone in the exact manor as the G D Smith does. Apparently, you never meet him in person for a healing.

What happened to that site that says you make checks payable to "AIDS BABIES"? I cannot find it.
Did you make a copy of it?

I've checked all of the links above. I don't see the order page anywhere. Specifically, the one that says this:

"This order page is for credit cards only. You may also purchase direct by sending check/cash/money order in US dollars to Gary Smith [...] "

Re: the publicly available information, unless there was a typo, it seems the blocking out function of using ##### to block out specifics has been used.

Re: AIDS BABIES, it seems all the credit card transactions are processed through AIDS BABIES.
But those transactions listed on the website, are for books and programs, not for AIDS BABIES.

It looks like some content has been deleted from the thread.
But the main point was that, all of those linked websites for this "Gary Smith" group, with a concealed owner in WHOIS, in fact have other links from other public internet sources that show in fact they are run/owned by a "Gary Smith" of Tillamook Oregon, as the public mailing address for payments for all those websites is listed on various other public websites.
Follow the money, as they say.

Information can be found at these type of public links, and then run through a search engine like Google or Bing.
Expect information to be scrubbed from the internet sometime soon.

Since there is so little, if any, information about the real "Gary Smith" who is selling Merkaba on the internet, its important to continue to put together whatever information is available, so people who come across his material for the first time, are able to do their research, and figure out what is really going on.

Like any other sect, former members and associates of Gary Smith can post their viewpoints in this thread as they see fit.
