I'm not defending the ROC. Just asking some ?'s. Where is Sammie on all this? Is she brainwashed that badly? Has no family to go back to? Does she have any education at all? Did she even graduate high school (some how I doubt it?) Does she believe she can't be successful without G? Was she in the trenches in the founding days of the ministry or was she at home not allowed "to speak in public"? Yes she has benefited from this lifestyle but at what cost? Is it possible that she could have blackmailed G with her keeping quite about his affairs and she stays and gets what she wants? What if . . . ? I can only imagine her heart had to be crushed by all this. Any way you look at it, she and the children are part of his collateral damage. And don't forget how this hurts the kingdom of God. Perhaps we believers should go stand on the sidewalk in front of the ROC and pray for those left behind, those that are truly innocent. We need to remember that Jesus died for all mankind, not just some of mankind. Yes-G needs to answer for this. THis is truly a vile thing that happened. Remember to pray for his victims, and yes, for him too. We are commanded to "pray for our enemies". Pray that as he faces his crimes, he finds true repentence. THis is awful, awful, awful. This was never God's will.

The wheels of justice are slow to turn....but sometimes they do turn. Is the place going to fold? Who will take over? Any one new church that people are gravitating towards? Preferably one without the criminal element. Will the RSUM fold as well. Thoughts appreciated

I'm attending the Gathering grounds right now and I've heard of another a few ministries mountain movers ministries and also some place called The vine on Midlothian Turnpike behind Arby's...And Calvary Chapel off of Hall Street Road... There is another ministry called Asian American United Church of Christ that is also another ministry that's located on a Place on courthouse road they share a ministry with First Congregational there in the evening.. Pastor gene officiates over there in his testimony is amazing its not false is accurate is true he was Pandolf into an orphanage...When he was a child and his because its parents couldn't afford to have him in the household...You probably have more integrity in his pinky then pastor G could ever have

The ROC Board seems determined to put lipstick on the pig.
How can there be any "going forward" until there has been an honest look at what was really going on? With all the allegations of embezzlement, it is a breach of fiduciary duty to pay out severances before a thorough accounting/audit. Treasurer is part of the problem/ Lawyer is in cya mode.

To Board members who are trying to do the right thing, it takes courage to admit to yourself that you've been conned.

Does ANYONE have a copy of the ROC BYLAWS?

I knew this family when they lived in Arlington/Fort Worth Texas. It was around 1997. I'm putting this here hoping that Sam reads it. I feel bad that I never told her these things when I knew her. Geronimo was a terrible person, and your whole family lied to you a lot. Your sister Chelsea had sex with Geronimo on my kitchen counter. I think she was 14 or 15. Your mother also had sex with him. You and Geronimo lived in a house with someone named Ronnie or Donnie and his family, and someone named Llano and his family. Ronnie also had sex with your sister and mother. Those three men had lots of sex with lots of women. Drugs too. Ronnie lived in the garage apartment behind the house. When his wife and kids were gone lots of bad things happened there. You probably already know these things, but I just feel the need to put this out there. They all lied to you so much, and made fun of you behind your back for being so naive.

My name is Aaron, I was hired as the lead guitarist after beu baker in 2010-2011 , I traveled out from California. I left the ROC on horrible terms after I lived in the RSUM for a year knowing nothing about Richmond or knowing anybody, I was simply I tossed out o the streets of Richmond. I had been socially excommunicated months before .It all started when G's close friend Santiago was hired as another lead guitarist and used intimidation and his friendship with G to get me out of the picture .One thing just lead to another causing so much drama in the band it was unbelievable. Anyway I tried to address these issues with G but he seemingly thought this was all fun and games for his own entertainment. Things got worse and the overall leadership in the band was unstable ,It was like everybody was doing their own thing. If people knew half the stories that went on in that band and in those rehearsals.. their jaw would drop I'm not saying I was innocent. I sometimes believe the kind of music we played did more harm than good sometimes, example : remaking Eric Clapton's Cocaine while the whole back row Is trying to overcome drugs just seems odd. It only got better when Chill G’s brother started writing original songs but I think that also made G and other musicians and singers jealous because they got out shined a bit.

After enduring much alienation and be shunned by the same people I performed in front of , I realized the ROC didn't care about you unless you were in the "inner Circle " and from what I saw the only way in that circle was to date someone , marry someone , sleep with someone , be an informant, or write grants. It had nothing to with you being a strong man of faith or standing up for what right.( The recent Pastor Allen incident clearly proves that ) Once that fully clicked with me I just played the best guitar possible and started talking to as few people as possible ..I even developed an antagonistic edge for a defense mechanism.

I was only trying to hold on through all this drama and one night after we played a song by Guns’n Roses , I was taunting by other band members on stage including Santiago in front of 4,000 people I just simply walked off and left the building in the middle of service. Two days later I quit the band because I was convinced this whole place was just a big cult of personality. ( but of course they will tell you I was fired) I tried to be apart of other ministries but It became clear that if I wasn't playing music I was no good to them. .. they did not throw me out just yet. I was finally ejected after some people went through my cell phone and texts. They found a text I sent to a lady who was my friend telling her the definition of a cult ( per Wikipedia) and that the ROC Fitted 8 of the 10 examples ! That got back to G fast although many people on the inside called the ROC a cult under their breath. ,I was kicked out the next morning , they tried to steal my cell phone and I was threatened . At that point I knew they were capable of anything so I left the property and went to a payphone and called RPD to get a police escort to get my cell phone back and gather my belongings.

The police asked Pastor Jason to give me a few hours to get my things together which was a reasonable request since I was living in the dorm for a year, he agreed but 1 min after the police officer drove away he was in my face yelling and forced me out in 30 mins with one suitcase! I had lost all my belongings ! He then taunted me until I left and told everybody who knew not to help me, he also had someone follow me a mile off the property to make sure I was homeless. I sat in front of a sandwich shop off chamberlain Blvd in the rain for 2 hours. Then a true friend finally came to my rescue Jason screamed at her on the phone, she no longer attends the ROC. Sounds crazy right ? well I guess this is normal every day procedure to the ROC.

I hope I’m painting a clear picture because this is the reason why people on this forum don’t put their names up, It’s because the ROC specializes in character assassination , coercion, intimidation, and brain washing. I heard the most insane allegations about me after I left I couldn't believe It. I even heard that I supposedly smeared feces all over the walls on they way out! This is how low they go ,they do that to maintain control. If you do basic cult research you’ll know that nobody is praised for leaving ,you get your character destroyed. Also If you leave the ROC on bad terms you almost have to leave the entire city of Richmond because they have informants that keep tabs on you and follow your Facebook pages, they also issue out lab-tops with monitoring software to current employees. They do that to see If a current employee Is talking to a person they kicked out ..If so their life turns into a nightmare and they could be next to go. I am convinced that Jason Helminger is a complete psychopath who G hired to execute his authority. It’s too bad the charges were dropped against him for what he did to Pastor Allen because he does this to people ALL THE TIME.. Its taken me a few years to move on , but the reason I survived the whole ordeal is because I already knew the signs of what a cult was and I also have good knowledge of scripture so I was able to leave un-brain washed. Praise God!

Somebody may argue the fact that the ROC does a lot of good in the community so how could It be this bad ? well If you don’t live there it different story, all cults look fantastic from the outside , that’s why people join . but if you need to join because your kicking drugs you will get help, however you will work sun up to sun down 7 days a week with no pay , unless you are a single attractive woman or in that inner circle.

Also G's testimony Is not %100 accurate. He was never was in any gang. He came to Virginia and sold everybody a hardcore story. G worked at a carwash and rapped cover songs in his dads church that’s all.l I know this because I was there.I can’t speak for any child molestation allegations because I never saw any of that but heads up, if you are financially benefiting from the ROC . ( this means you "inner circle" ) You might want to start thinking about C.Y.A. Because a man facing life in prison will start singing like Celine Dion.
