The key is accountability and transparency.

Does the church have a democratically elected board elected by all members by secret ballot?

Do board members serve fixed terms?

Is the pastor accountable to the elected board?

Is the annual budget disclosing all expenses, salaries and compensation in detail published and distributed to all members that contributed?

These are the safeguards that most Protestant churches and ministries in the United States have in place through church bylaws.

Denyingthepower.org and go to the phone calls tab. You can listen to how they talk to people and you be the judge of this sect. They get upset if a member needs to relocate or wants to leave the church. It is a very controlling group. They are so hypocritical they say you can't have the internet because it is sin but mostly all the leaders have internet in their home's.

This organization has one leader and there is no board to consult. Denis left NTCC because he wanted to run his own show without anyone telling him what to do. The Spirit of God has departed him because he doesn't give glory to God. He went to NTCC in Hinesville and interrupted the service with Tony O. and said that he built that church. He's wife dresses with costly array and the Bible says to dress modestly not with costly array. The proof is in the pudding. When Denis starts reading palms and sojourning spirits and going into mysticism you know that he has the same spirit of Saul. This is why this man has no peace and God told me to leave this cult. Look at the members every time they do something wrong you the leaders believe they must put them down and brake them back into submission. Friar, Tony, Emmanuel, Vasquez, Robertson, Vasquez Bradeen, they all cover up for this man. You know Bradeen wants to leave but he can't because he has no where to go without becoming homeless. Psss.

I have attended this church for quite some time and it has truly without question changed dramatically within the last few years.

The organization is controlled by a man named the Reverend Rony Denis. This man used to say that he was just a man and that he could be wrong and that its not wrong to be wrong but wrong to stay wrong.

Now the Reverend Rony Denis speaks as if he is Deity. He says that if you confess your sins to him, he can go to God the Father and get you cleared. He has said that God has given him so great of an anointing that he could change the scripture but that God trusts him to not to it.

This church has definitely gone into heresy.

The House of Prayer Christian Church organization just recently had a church split from them,their Greensboro, NC church. Good for them!

I have heard of a new teaching from the head cult master of this group, pastor Rony Denis. The teaching is that if God Himself comes and tells you that pastor Rony Denis is not of God then you are supposed to respectfully disagree with God!

In my humble opinion, THAT IS CRAZY!
One of their long time pastors who used to pastor their Tacoma, WA church pastor Hugh Virgo was intimidated into answering this question in this manner elevating their leader, pastor Rony Denis, above the throne of God.

Recently a grieving mother had to ask the Reverend Rony Denis for permission to get her daughter's phone number. Her daughter is currently a member of this church. The Reverend Rony Denis denied the grieving mother's request to call her and vice versa.

The mother poses a threat to the Reverend Rony Denis's control over her daughter because she does not agree with all his practices.

Cult? No Cult? You Decide.

Why does Rev. Robertson, Rev. Bradeen, Rev . Virgo, and the other ministers rise up and do something about what Rev. Denis is doing?

What are they scared of? I heard this Rev. Denis say that Bowers was coming back to hopcc, that Jerrod Edwards was coming back, that Ntcc would come along with him, in Conference he said that GOD SAID that John and Jennifer Rodriguez were coming back SOON!

Don't they see that he is a liar? The Bible says not to be afraid of such FALSE PROPHETS!
