I really love Wolfy's posts.

So clean, so clear. Well crafted.

I wonder if he was one of my mine?

He 's the perfect LEC grad.

What do you think Elena?
Is it safe?

If memory serves, and without rereading the old posts, Wolfy is from London.

Ever go over the pond?

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when the US Landmarkers were expaining to the UK people how to ~recreate~ or adapt the Forum/est for their constituents. It must have been hilarious. I'm laughing just thinking about it.
Also scratching my head trying to figure out how Wernerized Americans were able to pull this one over on the very different British. I mean, one can understand, say, the Chinese front men trying to explain Feng Shui to gullible or eager Americans, which we were mostly willing to go along with because it meant we would be able to sell them stuff, or something. I remember hotels in Las Vegas hiring Feng Shui "experts" to make their casinos Chinese-friendly in order to lure the big Chinese gamblers. Makes me wonder if there are Chinese sitting at home laughing at us.

Anyhooo....it's nice to see you back. Missed you terribly.

Ellen

Wolfy writes like his mouth is full...but full of what? He definitely need to work on his anger issues and I suspect an alcoholic parent or two or possibly narcissitic traits.

A good friend of mine did the Sterling weekend and He loved it and he seems to be doing really well. He never pressures me to do it. I met a couple of his friends who did it and they were extremely nice people. Now it intrigues me and I want to check it out. I cant see anything like this brainwashing you or forcing you to think or do things you dont want to. If they suggest something you do not believe cant you tell them to pound sand and go on about your business? Sounds interesting as hell to me. Thanks.

we advise that you re-read all the Sterling related posts and archived information very carefully.

First, bear in mind that Sterling has been getting a LOT of publicity, thanks to RR.com and other sites like it.

They may have toned down their approach, perhaps coaching to their newly indoctrinated members (eg your friend) to 'go slow' at work and when with friends, precisely so as NOT to spook potential recruits--in this case, you.

These group situations are tightly scripted and the organizers have decades of experience persuading people exactly like you.

Its an impersonal force a lot bigger than any one mind, no matter how intelligent that mind happens to be.

Hmmm.
You just "happen" to meet his "Sterling friends" and then you just "happen" to "want" to go and do the course....and then you just "happen" to come and make your first post on this website about how "it intrigues me and I want to check it out".
You obviously know little about "brainwashing" and Influence, but on the other hand, perhaps you do?

Good luck. Before you go you might want to read a basic text book on social psychology and review this web page for information on how not to hooked into group hypnosis/having your mind warped. Please consider that there are many other proven less risky ways to change oneself in more subtle yet more deeper and profound ways.

This friend of mine moved to San Fransisco 8 years ago so I really dont follow everything he does. He told me he was doing the Sterling thing months ago and I just blew it off. He did it and said it was great and didnt go into much and I really didnt care. So he comes down to Los Angeles this weekend with a couple friends that are into it big time and they seemed really nice and told me how it really changed there life and was worth a million bucks, blah blah blah. I never said I want to do it. I said it intrigues me and sounds interesting. I do want to check it out but sorry if it sounded like I meant actually go through the whole weekend. Tonight was the last night and I was told they gather in the parking lot and BS with one and other and I was going to mingle around and ask a bunch of others opinion. My friend was sponsering someone there so he had to go BS with whomever he was sponsering so I was just going to walk around the crowd like I belonged there and see what people say. My freind and his friends say they dont want to spoil it for me by telling me. What ever... They probably dont want to tell me what the hell they did in there to save the embarassement. I told my freind im not grabbing my crotch and dancing the naked secret handshake dance. He laughed and said yea they grab there crotch but they dont take there clothes off while they dance. I asked him about the pushups and yea that happens. I asked him about waiting around for the grand pubah to show up late while everyone else is expected to show up on time and that was true too. He was not as effected as his friends so I wanted to check out the rest of the gang and what it does to the majority. Problem was when we got to the place we were late and locked out. There were a couple others that were supposed to be on time and they were locked out too. Man I thought one guy was going to cry. So I grabbed my crotch said F it and we went and played some pool haha. After reading about Sterling on here I seriously doubt I am going to think about it anymore. He is on his way back up to SFO and Im through with hearing about the Sterling group. My friend will never bring it up to me again thats for sure. Thanks for the info though it was interesting for a while.

*Could it be that your friend's & buddies deliberately arranged to target you for recruitment? Certain LGATS reportedly coach their newly indoctrinated members to do what you describe: make a list of their friends and family members, then hit on them to join (fill in the name of the group)

*It is standard for graduates of many groups [b:fe6610b5b0]not [/b:fe6610b5b0]to tell you what goes on in the groups. This is what makes it impossible for you to make an informed and conscious decision. They are concealing important information YOU need for your own welfare.

*Problematic groups are experts at concealing information you need to know and claiming that doing this is for your own good. *The best expert on what is best for you is you*—not some entity that wants to get into your head and into your wallet. To an aggressive group, you —one more number for their database.

*Bad groups read the newspapers etc and are well aware of all the bad stories being told about them. A well organized group will coach new recruits on how to rebut the most common jokes and horror stories.
*
A group with a clean agenda would tell you 'go to places like culteducation.com and the other anti cult sites. Read all you can to educate yourself and make a fully informed decision.'

Or the clean group will tell you to read this page. Go to it

and make sure to read the section 'Choosing a Personal Growth Group.

"After you’ve been processed by an LGAT you are no longer a person. You have become a product. Your inner life is no longer your own. It has been taken over by a standardized ‘fast food’ philosophy"

Thanks for the info man I just called him told him to grab his crotch one last time (its got to be real sore by now) say F it and run before he sees he has been turned into a Big Mac or Cheese Burger. Ill send him that page too. Take care.
