A few posts from Nov.--Dec., 2018: Posted by: NavyVet79 Date: November 14, 2018 09:42PM Yeah, from the get-go it was a bit of a set up. Marilyn? I wonder if she even realized it or if she honestly believed that she was doing something noble? Kind of makes me wonder what these complicit "men of God" are expecting once they meet their real God? But as one of you all pointed out, t

I can't overstate how important communication skills are in making things happen. Because this request was perfectly phrased, I checked my inbox right away. Otherwise, I probably would have waited 6-8 months or so, like a LW shepherd. Posted by: Walked Date: November 19, 2018 01:28AM @changedagain-- check PM-- there's some sh*t in your inbox!!! :)

A few posts from Imapurple: Posted by: Imapurple Date: May 27, 2019 08:20PM So All of this is very interesting. So much history, so much hurt. I’m new to this but have been reading it for years. I was VERY involved in the back side of all this with JRS , G&M , Rick and everything that was going on at Blix, CLW, TLW and Shiloh. I just want to say I have so much love for so many and kno

Celebrating Easter in TLWF--probably a little different than how most Christian mainstream churches would approach it. #CuttingEdge kBOY Wrote: Posted by: kBOY Date: August 17, 2020 05:15PM (excerpt) It is good that option was not available within TLW or there would have been crucifixions body-wide every time anyone seemed to confront the anomalies of the 'pure atmosphere'

I think it's purposely vague and confusing, Reep. Then it can mean whatever the person in authority decides it means. Controlling the language becomes a source of power. I came across this today (below), and it certainly applies to what we were subjected to. Didn't someone here compile the unique glossary of terms/words used in the Walk/TLWF--to help those who were not part of this

Actually, even though he had obviously received all this communication about what was going on, his repentance before departing the scene had to do with "not listening to the Holy Spirit." I think that is the way he phrased it.

What would be your advice to the former president in how he should respond to the charges facing him, and others soon to come? I don't even know what they are yet. Just take a stab at it. What's your inclination in how he should plea? In Christ's Blood. #Forgiven /s

A few references to the infamous coffee table in this forum some years ago: Posted by: JesusJesusJesus Date: December 24, 2018 08:43AM excerpt: As for the furniture reference - I don't know about the coffee table of Israel, but I do vividly remember the whole fellowship raising funds for some big birthday that G was having. All he wanted was this expensive, ornate coffee table with

I'm trying to exude a little more warmth in my communication to family members, which hasn't been easy given my TLWF experience. I think I'm finally making some progress. Here is an email I sent early this morning to my daughters, that I believe has a softer and more relatable tone. I haven't heard back from them yet, but I'm confident I will some time today, and both

Came across this the other day: Do you remember what finally motivated you to leave the fellowship? Well, I was trying my best to navigate the Elijah/Elisha relationship, some days assuming I was Elijah and bossing him around until he sternly reminded me that I was Elisha, not Elijah, and was "supposed to be fucking submissive." Once that got ironed out, things weren't too m

Good to hear from you, Larry. You were instrumental in exposing the malicious hypocrisy of TLWF, and refusing to be silenced when the backlash came. I appreciate that. Glad you're doing well.

Their words of wisdom consisted of the directive not to gossip. Someone 'gossiping:' "Hey, I heard Rick has been screwing around again, and there will probably be a 'special service' warning us not to gossip. When the hell are they going to do something about him, and leave us out of it?" #BanSpecialServices

Posts by 'cultfree' from August 2018: Posted by: cultfree Date: August 24, 2018 12:10PM I feel nothing but outrage over the word on hierarchy. As Reveal so eloquently pointed out, hierarchy is the fabric of TLWF. The part of it that really gets to me is that what Gary is doing here is basically acknowledging that up until now, the church has operated on a hierarchy. That hier

I'll admit it, sometimes I get so angry at Russian aggression that I fantasize that Moscow is getting carpet-bombed with living word CDs. I suppose everyone has an instinct to take things too far, and I am not an exception. note: if the moderator removes this comment, I will not make a fuss.
