Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I'm thankful this discussion group exists, and although we have our disagreements, not one of us...to my knowledge...has prayed for the death of another. That's progress. Have a good one!

I did some research yesterday, and came across this detailed description of Frosty the Snowman (FTS) in a This Week: "Frosty the Snowman was a jolly happy soul with a corncob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal." --'Melting in His Presence' by John Robert Stevens.

Perhaps I have an attitude given that I was one of the ones that helped maintain one of their LA homes, now sold, on a volunteer basis while living just above the poverty line. Doing O.K. now...you know, once I started putting a bit of emphasis on my own life. What a novel concept. It only took me 21 years for that to sink through! p.s. BTW, did Gary ever change his mind, and grant Miller h

From a former long-time member of TLWF: "If we hadn't left when I was 40, we would have no home equity, no savings, and no Social Security because for sure they move out the older people for the younger, more compliant shepherds."

Yes, Saw Enough. I think if people have to weigh everything they write in light of whether it will offend, rather than the message it is trying to convey, it will facilitate self-censorship, and likely dissuade new posters from wanting to participate. This forum will soon be lifeless. In TLWF the continuous admonition to "have a right spirit/check your spirit" was often used to suppre

I reread paleface's post (below), and found it reasonable and not offensive...given the subject he is addressing. Knowing the poster personally, I'm aware that he is not mean-spirited, and is motivated to help people that are trapped in situations that seem hopeless. I think his admonition to "wake up" (do independent research, don't swallow everything given to you etc.)

That said, if people here know of instances where John allowed himself to be corrected by other ministries (peers), please come forward. My exposure to his ministry was only seven years or so...limited.

Just noticed that the trash can in the kitchen is knocked over, and it will take me at least ten minutes to clean everything up. I'm really tired and shouldn't have to face this reality late at night... I've changed my mind about my dog. He's not great after all. Please disregard the previous comment about him being some big solution in my life.

I love my dog. He's helped me get through a lot of things...mainly because he doesn't seem to give a sh*t about the pressures of the day. At least that's the vibe he gives off. In fact, I think he very well could be the embodiment of Matthew 6:34:"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Just to clarify, before it gets too tense on this board, that I accept every woman spirit, male spirit, Jezebel, Anak etc. that posts here...assuming they, at some time in their life, are willing to submit to me. I guess I have just mellowed with age.

Well, I don't think he was in it for the money...and I figure the pension that was withheld from him (assuming that decision still stands) could have made his latter years a bit more comfortable. Meanwhile, the Hargraves have the maintenance of million dollar properties to worry about. Oh, the pressure! WE LOOSE THE FINANCES FOR MOM AND DAD!!!

On the subject of molestation, which you referenced...I seemed to recall a frequent poster mentioning on Factnet that he had been molested repeatedly in his youth by a pastor, written to John about it, and nothing was done. This particular person is extremely credible to me, so I don't doubt it happened. But whether John actually received the letter, read it, and then chose to ignore/bury i
