Personally, I'm pretty sure that the phantom leader is either very ill or even dead. There was a tabloid article in Japan that claims he is in hospital and demented (who knows though). But what I find important about this is that the org is keeping so quiet about it. This sort of secrecy is, to me, a sign that SGI is definitely a cult (as if we needed any more evidence). I suspect lea

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought WTF about Infowar's post. On reflection, how did this get past the moderator since it has absolutely nothing to do with how SGI affects former cult members and families, which I thought was the main aim of this forum? Simplify (still shaken by finding out that SGI is a cult)

Ikeda's treatment of GMW in the latest book is sickening. We all knew how much GMW looked up to ikeda. I believe he idolized him just like everyone else. You co

One of Hollywood’s most promising young stars, Mr. Bloom is an SGI member from the U.K. Enjoying their first meeting with Mr. Bloom, Ughhh. What a nauseating mutual admiration fest.

QuoteNichijewThat Hitch doesn't know well Gerry Hall and Al Albergate proves that SGI has a shadow leadership. Why would a religious organization have men who set policy and create legislation who nobody even knows. There's a lot about SGI-USA that we don't know, especially their finances. We also don't know if they have a lobbying division, a policing division, the nature of

QuotetsukimotoExactly -- nothing is what it seems. As mroakes on www.buddhajones.com put it: "In a previous thread, I said that one of the hallmarks of a cult is reliance on deception. Cults deceive potential recruits, members and the general public about the group's true aims and core beliefs." To me, the important thing is not whether Ikeda is or isn't in a coma

I googled Benjamin Fulford and he does seem to be quite involved with unsubstantiated conspiracy theories. Unfortunately I can't find any evidence for the stuff he claims. Personally, waking up to the fact that I was in a cult has led me on a journey to hone my critical thinking skills and I am less able to believe what someone says without looking for evidence to support their claims.
