So I have something to report on the state of Gnosis-sos.org. I appears that the domain name is for sale, strange how it would get to that situation. Also there is a similar domain name that appears to possibly be for sale, Gnosis-sos.net. clearly it was also an anti weor site at one time as the former host brings up. Unfortunately I was not able to link to the owners. For those who are not up

I would like to comment on a little bit more of the manipulative language and cult speak that they use. A few minutes ago I was checking something on their website, generally I still like to monitor their activity once and a while, it is probably a habit. I came across a disturbing article about how they were spreading into Ethiopia at the request of some students. They were all quite please w

Nice to hear from you Cosbird, Considering what you have told me, I would definitely recommend you read the Pagan Christ by Tom Harpur. I has really turned out to be the book that I needed, it sounds like I am on similar search to you. I am a bit of a slow reader, mostly I haven't finished reading it yet because I am so amazed by all the details and good information that i just have to ke

I have some thoughts that might help people who are working on leaving the Gnostic Movement lead by Mark Pritchard who has a delusional fantasy about being the mythical creation called Bezlebuub. I will try to deliver them in as orderly a manner as possible. First Mark and the Gnostic Movement or Gnosticweb seemed to have covered themselves pretty well, with all the disclosure statements and

Thanks for that article Corboy that gave me a perspective I didn't have before. However I think the author might have missed a number of messages in the movie. You will notice that when Neo leaves the Matrix his life actually gets worse, so waking up is not fun. However there is that suggestion that our world may simply be an illusion so you can do what ever you want. This is trouble, there

What is wrong with the Matrix Script? If it had any similiarities to scientology then that is because they have the same influences, such as Buddhism, Gnosticism and philosophy. There is a massage of waking up to reality and getting out of the grind we are all in. The last two movies are a problem for most people as they are problematizing what originally looked to be a simple process. As I ca

It think it is important to be aware that sweat lodges are not the exclusive domain of the Sioui (Lokota, Dokota, Nakota etc), and we can confirm this archaeologically. Different peoples had different ways of doing, as with everything. Since the 1960's with the rise of the Pan Indian Movement there has been an increase in conformity in things like sweat lodges or pow wow dances. From what I

You find a great variation on spiritual activities between the North and the south. You can even find that within Nations that had to move south as a result of the Indian Removal Act. I heard a story a few years ago about a Seneca elder from New York State visiting the Seneca Nation in Oklahoma. At an event he was doing some traditional dances and ended up having a heart attack, partially because

Ok I have some background working with Native communities so perhaps I can help a bit, The main purpose of this website is to spread awareness of cults or cult like activity. It is really hard to do that if you don't want to give any details about the person or organization. Who was this person, what Nation (tribe) did this involve, and was there an organization involved. Have you trie

I have discovered have two websites to share each about a different one of the man that claimed to be a master. First I have a page that is only in spanish but hopefully the translation carries over or you can find the program to do so. it is about Luis Palacios Acosta who claims to be Toth Moses. Which essentially means he is claiming to be an ancient Egyptian Phoroah and the Moses of the Bib

Our studio seems to be very safe environment, but i do know there are some yoga nuts out there so I am careful about yoga. The question you are asking needs to broken down into three parts. I should state that I don't know much about Siddha yoga and i should do some research here. So for me the three parts o

Hi Heron, Thanks for all your work, I would love to here about all your highlights from reading the books. I was going to go through that process but It was too much of a contradiction with my need to move away from the "teachings". I am also not a dogmatically religious person, quite open to good ideas, but I really wanted to find a group of Gnostics to study with. I would define t

For those who need help I would say that Samael Aun Weor's writings either a complete copy or a perversion of the writings of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky,Aleister Crowley,George Ivanovich Gurdjieff or Peter D. Ouspensky. You can find a great amount of copying from these people, also he did of course pervert the teachings of Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Physics and psy

Hi Keir, I think long about "You must have faith" really means, "You must believe what I'm saying." is quite important generally these days. For me it ties in how cults are a a prodigy of authoritarian religions. Can we really say that Fundamentalist Muslims or Christians are really that different from cults? We can see this in how Weor came from a militant form of Ca

Hi Keir, Most of the supporters of the Weor teachings are intentionally ignorant of most of what he or any teachers has to to say. This is the only way they could follow his teaching and not live on a compound somewhere. I remember when I was leaving and I wanted friends who I had met during my time with the Gnostic movement to see the problems, all of them simply misinterpreted the information

I think in regards to Luthergrunge it is not a good thing to judge peoples ideas or believes so a cult is defined by the way a group behaves, and certain social claims they may make, like all other people being evil or you should only follow this one person etc. We need to be careful not to be attacking religion or believe generally that wouldn't help anyone. You will find on these forums ma

Here is a website that descibes the history of this nonsense pretty well. This is a discussion from Oprah.com where someone was trying to claim that Eckhart Tolle was ripping off Mark Pritchard. The problem with that is that Tolle published first, or at least published his first book first.

That article is good, the only major problem that I have with it the positive attitude that the writer keeps with Teachings of "Samael Aun Weor" written by Victor Gomez. Her guess that Edith is pro-communist is probably unfounded as far as I can tell. Most likely their dishonest translations and attempt to keep people away form Gomez's earliar writings are an attempt to make him see

Further to this question has anyone attempted to answer the question of figuring out what dangerous groups are active in a certain area. It seems that it is usually done the other way around, you take a cult or dangerous religions movement and figure out where they are active. Perhaps if it could be done it would help to start with a community, city or town and figure out who is active there so t

Ok so I am really curious now. Is there anyway to establish what groups are active in a given community that might be considered to be cults. I think this is a really important question considering that the lack of this knowledge is how how cults are able to operate. Of course we can really consider what groups are active on the internet in this question but we can consider what dangerous groups
